@@qbsrd He actually uses an Italian singing technique called "pharyngeal voice". It's a lot easier to sing like Matt if you're a tenor, but after months of screaming in my car, I've still managed to do it as a baritone.
It's also important to remember that the echo from his mic also contributes to the effect, though you're still going to be singing pretty damned high.
