It’s truly sad how sensationalized true crime has become and how traumatizing this must be for the victims’ loved ones.

What Anthony said about crime scene photos, there was a lady on the Toy Box Killer case (i think she was a detective i don't remember). She had access to photos taken from the site and ended her own life because the photos were that fucked up. To simplify it the guy tortured, raped, and killed kids. The way did it was insane and disgusting (and involved zoophilia) Also the Toy Box killer is one of the most fucked up cases you'll hear. Stephanie Soo covered it on her podcast.
