Dude wtf this was bad ass! Thanks for finding it! I'm an EDM fan and a metal head so this was a satisfying jam. check out some awesome instrumental stuff from Stömb if you get a chance. They have some really grandiose new stuff. Peace to you fellow Richard.
Here are some artists I listen to weekly where you might find something for you: Qoiet, INHUMAN (formally known as Code: Pandorum), Phase One, Kayzo and Sullivan King
Beginning sounds bit like BIOACTIVE from SYBREED Check them out Rich and omfg just Listen to good old 2006er modern metal like Dagoba with the things within 😮💨
I'm a fan of both EDM and metal, so I found this colab to be amazing! It's cool to hear Polaris branching out a bit, but knowing they also still have the stuff they are known for.
Yeah you are right! Like, Phase One is indeed an EDM artist (dubstep mainly) but from time to time he likes to bring the big guns to his tracks! Sort of mixing metalcore with dubstep. One of his best tracks (for me) that he as done in the past is "Crash n Burn" featuring Northlane! Gotta check it out!
I personally dont like EDM at all but this was pretty cool for the most part. The electro/dubstep elements were not too over bearing or repetitive. The clean chorus was a bit weak but decent song. 7/10
This song reminds me ReEvolution from Sybreed ua-cam.com/video/g_lHskJw7PE/v-deo.html for his excellent ibridation between electronics and metal. And yes, mixing different genres can make music better... But only if you are a songwriter good enough
PhaseOne was originally signed to a dubstep label called Disciple. He has some pretty heavy shit on Disciple. This is next fuckin' level though.
Does EDM make metal better? Yes, yes it does 😌
PhaseOne actually did a full album called Transcendance where its edm/metal with the likes of periphery, thy art, and a few other well known names.
Im really curious about that! Ill dig into this for sure, thanks!
@@hithere-haveagreatday7609 should check out sullivan king

@@Mr_Sim0n thank you dude I’ll check them out!
Stömb is cool frostbitt is who ive been listening to the past month
This is great. Sullivan king vibes
PhaseOne has also done some great collaborations with Periphery, Thy Art is Murder, Northlane and In Hearts Wake too.
Although old, Pendulum did a colab with In Flames called Self vs Self. Sick song. Metal with EDM or DnB just works
Definitely going to be checking them out
Track is a banger love the mix of edm and metal! This and illenium/spiritbox collab are so cool, would wanna see more collabs like that!
sullivan king mostly does this and excision too often
Really enjoyed that collab! And i'm not typically an EDM fan at all.
Also, PhaseOne did all of the instrumentals and Polaris provided all the vocals.

Fun fact: Phaseone did everything except for the vocals
In fact, some parts with guttural are made by him.
I mean it worked for Enter Shikari
Listen Dead by April
Towards the end, it sounded a lot like Bring Me The Horizon, particularly "Can You Feel My Heart"
yep, that's cause PhaseOne sampled that synth part from Can You Feel My Heart lol
Yes yes it does.
does Metal make EDM better? yes, yea it does 🤘🏼
PhaseOne isnt doing vocals on this track. Jamie is screams and bassist is chorus
The Scott Brown remix of The Browning's Time Will Tell (2011) will be hard to top for me.
thats was sick
React to Waking The Cadaver - Threating Physical Force

Oh yeah PhaseOne is a EDM but he has collabs with Thy art and a ripper with northlane

That was a great album!! I didn’t think anyone really knew about those guys 😅
This has its moments, but I just don't dig the electronics
Not terrible, but any Trap electronic spoken word stuff was done better/best by Ten56 on Sick Dog 🔥🔥
