When you mentioned favoring the left side for profiles, that is what I do too. Maybe it's because I am left handed, but it's always much easier for me to draw a profile from the left, it seems more natural for me. I love this pink flower, mainly because pink is my favorite color!!! I'm so grateful to have found your channel, I love watching you create!!!

Love the way you change your mind about what you’re doing. 😮 I thought the red is going to look great, then you changed to pink and it looks fabulous. Thanks for showing us that a change of mind - moving away from an original mind set - can be a good thing. Love this piece ❤❤
The red would have been beautiful on the petals, but I'm glad you changed it to pink. The pink with the black and gold is stunning. I love this painting. I think the stems in the center of the flower are called stamens.

Thank you very much Wendy🥰 💖I think it looks more subtle now; red would’ve been a really bold statement. Yes, absolutely , a filament and an anther are parts of a stamen. (It’s good to brush up my Biology, lol!🤪)
