Candy corn is a candy most often found in the United States and Canada, primarily around Halloween. The three colors of the candy - a broad yellow end, a tapered orange center, and a pointed white tip - mimic the appearance of kernels of corn. Candy corn is made primarily from sugar, corn syrup, confectioners wax, artificial coloring and binders. It has a very distinct flavor. The M & M's were Candy Corn flavor and were suppose to taste like Candy Corn, but to get the best effect of Candy Corn, you would probably want to try the actual Candy Corn itself.
Also, that Chick-O-Stick looked like it tastes like a Butterfinger candybar. Have you ever had a Butterfinger? I've never had a Chick-O-Stick, but that's what it looks like.
Moon pies are a big favorite in the south! Mardi Gras especially! Lol

I love the chic o stick. They remind me so much of my dad. They were his favorite candies! He used to buy them all the time and keep them in his truck. We'd go for long rides and he'd always offer me one. I used to refuse to eat them, but now I love them, I guess my taste buds changed over time. Just the name gave me wonderful Memories.

The fudge shop youre talking about is called The Fudge House! My mum just came back and got me some of their Lemon Meringue fudge, pistachio and white chocolate and their highland fudge and they were all incredible 😍

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite restaurant chains, I always bring visitors to Cracker Barrel. If you ever visit you should try it
The milk chocolate, Vanilla, and banana is beyond better then the dark moon pies :) but people do have different taste buds :) Love the video!

Candy corn is the size and shape of a large kernal of corn. They're colored yellow, white, and orange. They're known for having a very waxy texture, similar to candle wax. Some people love that, others hate it
To me it tastes like icing, and that's kind of it. Like powdered sugar.
There's no white chocolate at all, and definitely nothing fruity.
I guess m and ms was just trying out a gimmick

I love actual candy corn it's definitely a love/hate candy. And it's something you can't have a lot of in a row because they're very sweet! But they're nothing like white chocolate (which I can't stand.) The only part about those m'n'm's that was "candy corn" are the colors.

Love to watch your face while you are trying your treats. I can usually tell how you're feeling about the treat you just tasted. Charlotte that didn't look like a moon-pie you tasted and candy corn you tried. Cracker Barrel does serve good food. Delightful video. Thanks for sharing. ~Phil
I wish she had sent you some candy sticks. They are soooooo good. They come in all kinds of flavors like watermelon, blueberry, peppermint, blackberry, cotton candy, etc. They are basically candy canes without the hook and were the perfect treat when I was a kid on a road trip because they last forever, but don't ruin your appetite like chocolates or cookies. I don't remember what Moon Pies taste like and I live in the city they were created in.

Mmmm, I remember those candy sticks! I was absolutely crazy about the watermelon and blueberry flavors. It was very rare that I was allowed any, but I treasured and cherished those things as a kid.

Candy corn is a fall/Halloween seasonal candy that has a waxy toffee taste. They're confusing. There's nothing similar to the taste that I can think of. Old people love candy corn.
If you mix candy corn with dry roasted peanuts you get a mix that tastes like a Payday candy bar. Yum!
OMG, I haven't eaten a Payday in SOOOOO LONG! Thanks for reminding me I need to get some soon!
I'm from the states and I haven't heard of any of these candies except Moon Pies (which I don't really like) and the M&M candy corn, which I thought was ok. Great video!
The chick-o-stick was big in the 60s. I haven't heard of the others either!

I live in Mississippi and never went into a Cracker Barrel. I had no idea they were still around or that they sold stuff other than restaurant food. When I saw the Maple Nut Candy I wanted some straight away. I love those things.

I LOVE traditional candy corn as long as it's by Brach's. No one else makes tasty candy corn. The M&Ms version is horrid though, absolutely artificial tasting, but then again I try to avoid artificial colors when I can!
Also real candy corn is made from honey, and tastes like honey. :)

So I was thinking while watching this video and it really made me sad that you dont have any children Charlotte. Awesome and sensitive person like you should have at least three ... they would probably deserve your whispers, reading, painting, playing games and eating candy much much more, than we do. You have such a great positive energy. I mean dont get me wrong Im very much grateful for your videos (long time fan) but just now I found out that I would probably be even more happier for you if you would have stopped making them (or lowered your frequency) because of kids. I really hope one day you will have some ... at least two if not three ... just for your own sake (and it would make me happy too) :).

Chick-o-Stick are so good! Very peculiar, and strange name, but they're nice (and inexpensive!). Does the UK have the Butterfinger candy bar? I usually describe chick-o-stick as a Butterfinger with the chocolate removed. It's a naked Butterfinger. Of course, if you don't have Butterfinger, then the comparison doesn't work. If you think you might like to try a chocolate covered Chick-o-Stick, then you know what to look for!
We don't have them but I have tried them when I was sent them in another box

Oh! Charlotte, I forgot to mention, find a good probiotic and take it two hours after you take your antibiotic. It will help combat the nasty effects of the antibiotic and help keep your tummy happy. I am really sensitive to antibiotics because U.S. doctors prescribe them for everything under the sun and they're really bad for you if you take them too often. You can build a tolerance. I hope you're feeling better by now!
+Natasha Paulson really? I wonder if that's because of how the health system works over there, my doctors tend to try not to give me any if they can help it. I did get some probiotic drinks and I think they helped a little
+ASMR Angel i guess it works like that all over Europe they only prescribe antibiotics if necessary And over here doctors only prescribe them With probiotics they cannot without it , get better soon :) its full With major tingles i ❤️ it
+ASMR Angel Yeah, I don't really trust most traditional doctors, they are often more about pushing pharmaceuticals and making money with unnecessary procedures than actually helping their patients. 😣 It sounds like your doctors have their heads on straight!

Candy Corn is a candy that we have around Halloween and in the fall and it's absolutely disgusting.. It just tastes like pure sugar and a fake vanillaish kinda flavor. And those moon pies.. yuck.

What I really wish I could send you an It's It from San Francisco: Vanilla ice cream in between two oatmeal cookies, covered with chocolate!
It's funny but I will always associate San Francisco/the Bay Area with sourdough bread and croissants, because I got into both while living there briefly in the late '80s (before the Loma Prieta earthquake, though, so I didn't experience that). That and Safeway -- I loved Safeway! Oh, and while I couldn't stand California's version of Mexican food, I LOVELOVELOVE the Chinese food over there! It's AMAZING!

Yeah those “candy corn” M&M’s are nothing like actually candy corn. Candy corn in its true form is a white orange and yellow candy shaped like a corn kernel and is basically just flavorless sugar. M&Ms in their true form are milk chocolate candy that are different colors and are shaped like the “candy corn” ones you ate. Those ones you ate were just a novelty flavor of M&Ms and are nothing like real candy corn or M&M’s

HamPlays Yeah to YOU it doesn't sound off or different, but to us Northerners and other non-regional American dialects, Southerners (excluding FL) have a very distinct and THICK accent
I'd heard about Moon Pies before too and was so excited to try one (I live in the North and they're more of a Southern thing). They were TERRIBLE ! I thought I had a stale one, but no - that's just the flavor. Awful. I'm not sure if they were good back in the 50's and they've changed or if they've always tasted like stale graham crackers and odd waxy chocolate-like coating with a sliver of fake marshmallow. Could be an acquired taste ! But I do like real candy corn.
I'm from the South and I have no idea why anyone likes them. Horrid things.
