I am a proud owner of a fine WW2 LUGER and it makes things super nice just knowing how it functions.
Such a beautifully done video. It was a pleasure to watch each aspect of the action being dealt with in detail and in sequence. Also, I really appreciated the maker of the video understanding that, if I want to watch any given part repeatedly, I can press rewind all by myself.

For those who say it is a simple design; The Luger was said to be over engineered and was meant more for sporting and a collector’s pistol than a combat pistol. It usually had problems with the dirt/dust and changing the parts were near impossible.
They are supposed to be pretty reliable though as long as they're kept clean. I've fired mine a lot at the range with standard pressure 115 grain ammo and no problems. But yeah, there's definitely a reason why they didn't keep this design.

I did not know the luger toggle lock was a short recoil system. I just kinda assumed it was a type of delayed blowback. Good video!
