Living the dream man! Such beautiful scenery and I love going to new places and trying the small “mom & pop” shops for food! I imagine those burritos were awesome! Can’t wait to see the rest of the trip!
I agree - it’s so hard to convey just how beautiful some of these places are on camera! Baja’s on my bucket list - I’m in Phoenix so it’s not too long of a trip either 👌
It's really nice to see you enjoying what Mother Nature has to offer. The sound of the waves and more of the rain is my best time of sleeping. It's amazing how much we forget earlier on in your videos the trouble you were going through with the troopy. Now it's all paying off. Keep safe out there, and don't forget to keep an eye on that electrical issue. BTW, I ended up drilling a 2-inch hole in the rear quarter panel of the 4runner for a sealed electrical outlet for shore power. It turned out really good, almost factory looking. Now I'm able to run a heater and what ever with out draining my jackery. Take care.
Great video, Ben. The combination of your videography and narration brings it to life. The sound of the waves lapping on the shore is music to my ears. Keep up the good work! - Dan 🌲
Wow haven’t see all the progress congrats for sticking with it looks amazing! BTW I would imagine running the older vehicle also has a lower profile benefit abroad
Thanks so much! It was a lot of work but so worth it! I definitely think cruising around in a 30+ year old truck has its benefits, not nearly as flashy as trying to do it in a brand new 4runner!
THANKYOU FOR THIS! you here So many horror stories about Mexico I was even thinking about skipping Mexico as I travel down from Canada heading towards South America but I guess things are Ok to travel through
I’m glad this video helped ease some of your concerns! Baja (and Mexico in general) is an incredible place if you do your research and take the right precautions. In the new year I'll be crossing from Baja to mainland Mexico and it's really just about avoiding the current hotspots for crime, using some common sense to stay out of trouble, and trusting your gut!
This keeps me pumped for my next baja trip this coming new years!! nice job!! just a tip if you choose to do it but please don't name spots, not because I encourage people to be selfish but baja is getting so crowded with van lifers it's common in baja groups to read about foreigners claiming beach spots and not letting locals or other travelers camp next to them! anyways awesome videos seemed to be a fun adventure!
You make a really great point. I try to be considerate of how I go about naming spots and geotagging. I encourage people to research for themselves to find great places to camp and explore, and try my best to preserve the anonymity of lesser known places so they don't get overrun. Thank you for the reminder, hope your trip is great!

Nice video! You have mission san Borja very close to you (bahia de los Angeles), don't miss it. Saludos

Thanks so much Dan! It’s definitely the best way to get away from it all, right? 🤙
