People are generally weak and uneducated on the qualities of bitcoin. The M2 money supply alone with skyrocket us to 100k, not to mention ETFs and banks buying in.
I'm not freaking out (I wouldn't) but I would like to remind you that less than a month ago you were certain that we wouldn't go below 60k or even get to 62k. I'm long term bullish but I still wouldn't be shocked to see BTC below 30k in the next 6 months.
Agree to a point .. but BTC dropping below 30k in 2024? I think that would end the bull market .. I think low 50s to mid 40s is as low as BTC will go between now and Dec 2024
When I sell btc it will be for lifestyle chips. To sell btc to pay loans to me seems weird - mainly because I can't get any loans. Why pay off something I can't get🤷

My theory is that adoption drives volatility in the short run but as bitcoin recovers the newbies become the base we need. Full disclosure... Im a newb and this is my first Big Dipper. Im hanging in. Ill never understand people trying to time the market and using leverage, so risky. Personally I like to DCA constantly and make bigger contributions in down markets like this.

Thank you Toby. Have we ever done any Critical thinking about why we attach such paramount importance to the Fiat value of Bitcoin in Dollars? Is it because we organize our lives around the Dollar? Why is that? Is it because we live in an economy based upon trade denominated in Dollars. In my opinion, for Bitcoin to become a force in the world, an economy that offers goods and services in trade for BTC along with fiat, gold, and silver must be developed. Perhaps Governments will not allow that because it is their only lever of control on Bitcoin?
Paper BTC via futures is ruining BTC. Thats what makes this cycle different. Futures are being used by large institutions and whales. Time for a hard fork!
No-one wants to talk about this, it hurts their delicate egos too much.....most channels would collapse when the truth comes out that BTC will never reach 100k.... because it won't be allowed to challenge the power of the dollar

The fiat in the bank lost 20 per cent since 2020. Not coming back. BTC could go to any low and I would hold because I didn't risk much plus there are still only 20 million coins.

Guys here is the deal. Market makers make easy money taking out close to the money leveraged derivatives contracts. What's been happening is every day people put in hundreds of millions of longs and market makers take out 200 to 700M daily. They keep going in long over and over, thus we can't move up. Now after this drop people are starting to think maybe they'll short close to this price to see if they can capture moves to 48k etc. So now what you'll see is them take out shorts, moving price up and seeing short covering and reversals of position.
The 5 day and weekly charts look like the momentum to the downside is gaining strength (aka stochastic RSI nosediving while bbwp is expanding from the low). I have no idea how low it will or can go, but statistically based on the past, averages say BTC should continue down for another week or 2 and it should bottom around mid 40k. No guarantees, just statistical probabilities. But agreed, keep stacking and keep a long term mindset. Cheers!!
The actual definition of a bear market is a 20% decline from the top. We are by textbook definition in a bear market. It can change quickly or may extend. The lesson here is learn to hedge where there are signs of weakness (like there were at 67k)
Sorry for being ignorant… but can’t the exchanges stop offering leverage trading? These liquidations are making it hard for prices to go up. Tbh, I love crypto, but seeing this leverage mess is disappointing.

You are one of the few people to mention this. Bitcoin has yet to establish how it'll fare in a longer bear market after a MASSIVE stock market crash. We already had a taste of it in March 2020, but that was due to COVID. And then the FED came to the rescue. Now there are worse financial cracks on the horizon. The unicorn-and-rainbow stock market needs a complete flush out of excessive leverage and other shenanigans. And who says the FED will always come to the rescue? With a probable September and October market crash, I'm still holding onto most of my cash; however, I'll nibble at some of my favorite alts.
