How long did it take to melt with the mapp gas? Did you do it with one bottle?

About a minute to get red hot and then shortly after it melts, the bottle lasts a good few times

In my area the bottles come in yellow, it burns hotter than propane but it's more expensive, propane now is 7.99 CAD and a bottle of yellow Map/Pro gas is 11.99 CAD

Propane will melt copper, it takes a few minutes compared to MAPP

MAPP are the yellow bottles of gas, it burns slightly hotter than propane but it's more expensive. Swirl head torches are recommended
