and a negative point is that Iraninas tend do exactly what their friends or family members do , so girls choose this gown as ohers have chosen this in their wedding...and this is the reason why these gowns are number one in the market...in small cities maybe some be like that be poor villagers no..... But interesting is that it depends on the man, if the man says no tho this kind of gown , they do not choose it,...
Thank u for ur reply sara. I'm aware that Iran is an Islamic Republic. If u dont mind me asking, why do most of the brides in Iran wear gowns like that? I mean, is it simply bcoz of modernisation or is it something like a rebellion? What about in small cities and villages? Do they wear similar wedding gowns?
they like to follow fashion magazines, or maybe is a rebellion, a hidden one though in most of the pics I have seen duting these years brides prefer this kind of gown, But I am sure one of the reasons is that because it is in the market,
Congratulations for the marriage! :) Very interesting wedding. Its confusing for me as the wedding ceremony looks like how the Christians do it; which includes kissing in public and non-Muslim/traditional wedding clothes (especially the bride's dress). I was going to ask whether they are Muslim couple...but from the comments I read I guess they are Muslim. Is this a very modern type of Persian Muslim wedding or is it only bcoz it was held in USA? Just curious... :)
WoW.. I call this a proper Persian wedding !!!!!! Everything including ( sighe aghd ) is properly done in Persian way! I so hate that rubbish ( alkahd o va zavajto ) and some more shit which is in Arabic & has got nothing to do with our Persian culture! Well done guys and wishing you and all your family the best of luck, God Bless you!

I am sure Shahram Solati has sung it too... His version sounds great!

Vampgirl58, LOL! This is not a Bahaai wedding! Because Bahyee wedding does not have the table!(Sofre ). Bahaai ceremony is very simple!
please some good reactions.

This isn't a muslim wedding--it is zoroastrian wedding...hence the lack of the asking three times and no vali or aghd-e-nikaah.
It is an Iranian wedding! So many people these days don't go with Koran. They prefer their own language.
cool
I understand Persia has people from all religions but is this an Islamic wedding?

It is clear! she speaks farsi, but not very good, because she was born in US not Iran.
