I'll never forget when I went to buy that CMW cassette tape from the old musicland. That whole album was unbelievable. I was in the 9th grade when that CMW album came out. I knew it was an instant classic in it's own time. When Scarface dropped that For My Homies double album Face was absolutely brilliant. In 1998 there was nothin as far as from a production standpoint that sounded like that album. The whole album was insane lyrically, & production. Face was untouchable like he told us. Master P had the Last Don double album which was had decent production,but Face My Homies was several levels above that. The only album I could compare would be 2pac because Pac stayed ahead of the game. His All Eyes On Me album & that was 2 years earlier. It was the first ever digital audio album.
@@oldschoolhiphop2275 All Eyez On Me was great but Me Against The World was right up there with it. Pac wrote that album straight from the heart.
