    For folks practicing this -- if you set your extr lights to steady or off (not flashing) it reduces the flickering-clouds effect that can become annoying. It appears to be a graphical glitch in 4.35.1-.2

      Thanks! When I was flying the mission I didn't even notice the flickering. Watching it now - without the helmet-fire - it's very obvious and quite annoying.

    Great demostration! I'm now flying this training and it's so helpful for me to understand the HSI operations! Thanks for your sharing!

      Thank you! I'm still quite erratic with my speeds and turns, but at least I get down without crashing most of the time :)

    Nice tutorial Stevie. Thanks for sharing. What VA-profile do you use?

      Thanks! Glad you're enjoying it. I'm not using any VA at the moment, I'm just quickly smashing the buttons 😅

    Nice! Do you have some voice recognition software or you just pressing the keys and talking for immersion?

    • @steviesgames
      @steviesgames  2 роки тому

      I do have Voice Attack, but it's not set up properly yet. So I'm still pressing the buttons. :)

    When you changed from TCN to ILS/TCN why did the CDI change? you didn't change the course yet? did it use the course set in the DED earlier ?

    Where do you get those charts from? Wish my kneeboards had relevant mission data / charts...
    Is it done automatically per mission, or do you manually set your kneeboard?

      Nevermind. Just found WDP.

    Really nice video. You do a great job flying the vertical interceptor line but your all over the place with the horizontal line. And your flare is more of a crash instead of a gentle flare and touchdown :-(

      Thanks for your feedback! Still have to practice a lot, maneuvering in 3D is hard :)

    How do you make your FOV so wide? In the config it maxes out at 80...

    • @steviesgames
      @steviesgames  3 роки тому

      My FOV is at default (60°), and it's bound to the big slider on my HOTAS throttle. So I didn't really change anything from the defaults, I just bound the FOV axis...

      @@andrewa837 TIR Z zoom never quite worked for me. I almost smashed my head into my monitor and still didn't get any usable magnification :D

    Can you do the video heads down without Command Steering?

      @@steviesgames Can't wait until you do. I can't seem to get the ADI localizer centered during the last 10 miles or so.
