- Creator of Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, Danny Antonucci, has done a recent interview with Animation Magazine in which he talks about a multitude of things (one thing being that he was approached to do his own 'Scooby Doo' project), but one of the things he talked about was whether or not we'd see a reboot of the Ed, Edd 'n Eddy franchise in the future. I'm standing by Danny's decision, Ed Edd n Eddy ended on a high note and isn't something that really needs to be brought back and instead bring back shows that need to come back or spinoffs we need such as the Underfist show which never came to be.
Exactly, and not to mention literally not everything needs to be rebooted or brought back as well that already had a good ending.. And I believe that Mr. Warburton(who created KND) wanted something new called Galactic Kids Next Door but that never happened due to his contract also expiring with Cartoon Network to. That also needs to happen to, since that's also a spin off as well.
I would love to see more anything related to Ed Edd n Eddy

I honestly DO want Ed Edd N' Eddy to be rebooted. But instead as adults
Here's the thing about remakes and reboots.
It's pretty much retelling the same story again but made today or it will continue the story; however for Ed Edd n Eddy the story is over; it finished and adding anything more would either another story to be started, which would take just as long and is risky; or it'll fail to meet what fans expect for a series sequel. Same with a retelling of the story; ppl will compare it to the original so it has to be equal to, or better.
I'd love more Ed Edd n Eddy, who wouldn't? But I'm happy with what we got. In fact I feel glad knowing we got 5 Seasons, 3 tv specials and a movie to end the original show's story and pretty much wrapped up everything but what's under Edd's hat. Some series never get a finale, let alone a movie and 5 seasons! The only thing that could make the series better is an animation upscale that cleans the drawings and that's it (which some fans have already done for the entire series. It takes up a lot of storage space though XD ).
Again I'm open for new ed edd n eddy stuff, but if I ever want to see it again; I always have the option to just watch the show we already got. It never gets boring and I always find myself laughing year later :D
I agree tv shows do it differently 2 movies at least we don’t mind them getting made now some good some bad right making tho we trust now like this part of it so b so 2
I love Danny’s take on how he felt about the Ed’s having a return comeback. If you ask me I think that a spin-off Rolf or Johnny and plank series would actually be cool to see. Like could you imagine if they told a story of Rolf’s family background or johnny as captain Melon head??
Yeah but it doesn't make sense for it not to come back.
In my mind, I feel like a whole series that takes place inside of Ed’s head would make the most sense for a spin-off. It’d be a totally different tone from the main show.

Im so glad eene isn’t rebooting for a number of reasons.
1. The series already came to an end in 2009 with the Big Picture Show movie.
2. CN could ruin it like they would with any other reboot series (PPG 2016, TTG).
3. Technology could ruin it because middle/high schoolers are obsessed with phones/trends and that has nothing to do with the series.
4. The animation in this show is one of the best and it wouldn’t feel the same if it got rebooted.
I've seen a lot of people saying the show came to an end with Big Picture Show. And I'd agree except... there's the ending scene with Johnny 2x4 becoming Captain Melonhead. That really hinted at another season and opened possibilities for more stories. I agree it's still a good ending, but I don't know if they 100% intended the show to end there because of that cliffhanger.

It's probably for the best that the show won't come back to be honest,too much is getting rebooted remaked and revived these days. I'm with Danny on this one,it was perfect as it was and you could'nt catch lighting in a bottle like that again.
Good. I'm glad one is not happening, and It's also really a good thing that Danny actually owns the rights to his character, hence that being one of the reasons no shitty reboots have happened since it would be his call to make a new series or not. But I'm glad that he wants to move on from Ed Edd n Eddy and to do other things. Since literally not everything has to have a reboot or a revival as things are better off ended where they are at. Plus for me personally, i prefer for it to be up to the viewer's interpretation and imagination of what happens next for the Eds and the Kids after Big Picture Show, rather than some new writers actually showing us what happens next.

I always wanted a spin off of the Kanker Sisters as a kid. I wanted to know more about them. Were they really sisters? Why do they look so different? Etc.

Danny one of the few creators still own the rights to his show and the characters. If he's fully done with the show I'm fully fine with that
well figures oh well at least at least the show was already good anyways
it doesn't mean a reboot anyways and big Picture Show was great
It would be nice if danny made a squeal of ed edd n eddy it would be called ed edd n eddy grown to teenagers.

That's up to danny I guess I mean I want it to continue where it left off I we don't know if he'll never make it come back like he's only in his 60's so we've to see what HE decides.

While we’ll most likely never get an Ed Edd n Eddy reboot, I’d be excited to see more anything related to the franchise.
Still waiting for Galatic KND and Synbonic Titan season 2 but Warner Bros are sleeping on money. Danny is completely right Warner would ruin it since they are investing in things like Velma.
