Blasting around Bournemouth in a Speedboat

Finally I've been able to sneak out in the Boston Whaler getting it out on sea and onto the plane the first time for me. As a total novice power boater this was a great learning experience. Doing my RYA Level 2 course tomorrow and hoping to gain more skills to be able to keep going at different sea states. It was a fairly calm day although still enough chop to keep me on my toes!
Next outing I think I'll be leaving the extra outboard at home, the main motor did well and showed no signs of issues so a massive confidence boost.
The one key thing I want to change is the steering, this boat is crying for a nice new hydraulic steering setup as after a day out my arms and shoulders were killing me from fighting the steering wheel.
