- The Aigo A100 is a truly great keyboard. So good to the point that I've started using it as my main.
To get the keyboard: s.click.aliexp...
We love all of your support and as long as you guys enjoy our videos we will keep going. If there's any tech products you'd like us to have a look at. Just tell us and we'll do our best :)
Extremely underrated channel. Keep up the good work! 👍
They fixed the space bar sound. I just got one in my hands and they are thocky without any intervetion. I think that is not necessary to mod this, at all. Great value, specially that i'm from Brazil, and here we don't have many options. I would recomend for everybody.
We git the 60% version and it's also got a good spacebar. So I guess it's fixed
This is actually a pretty good review, mate. Honest and brief. I like it!
Looking forward to your channel growing, keep it up 👍
And yes, I did click the LIKE button for the algo 😉
haha ya'll are awesome, hope you guys keep it up, i suspect you guys go viral and easily hit 1M views on an upload very soon. Keep it up
Thankyou appreciate the comment! When we get back to this channel we're gonna make even better content!
@@YNOTPC Your style (and maybe you look loosely related lmao) reminds me of Coffeezilla in some ways, you could definitely take a little inspiration from him if you haven't already. The whole investigation thing from the AJAZZ video is maybe what im referring too.
Wish you guys all the success
i got this keyboard just nearly a year ago. The keyboard sounded good at the beginning but the spacebar is rattly and warped. Glad to see y'all review this, btw i will upgrade it soon.
Yeah sounds like a simular experience to us then. What keyboard are you thinking of now?
@@YNOTPC uh maybe tester68 kit or akko 3098 keyboard that only costed under 35$, i am also planning for buying this in the future, now i gonna mod the a100 first, then I'll thinking more soon.
its honestly the best keyboard ive ever owned.
good editing, filming and commentary
Much appreciated!
aigo is just too good for its price. And the internal thing on it being a wireless connection is solid for its price (again). Sad that i think they wont make another layout soon. Dope review also brah!! WW
Funny enough they have a 60% keyboard also. We've got it and are going to review it soon
@@YNOTPC wait really? Dang, alr we'll be waiting!!!
Is that 36 DateJust? Stunning
Thanks man 😁
Good work with the video, very informative 👌
Did you find a [£] key cap, or did you persevere with the [$] key?
I just kept is with a dollar sign. I don't think they shipped us a pound sign
Spacebar sounded as same to me: horrible, rattly sound. Well, all keys which use stabs did, and i bought A108 for my work and (shortly afterwards) GD100 for home. So, the only corner Aigo/Darkflash cut was poor quality stabilizers. But worry not! There's a simple solution to that, which basically removes this overall wonderful keyboard series ONLY downside and it's the stab modding. Do the "stabilizer clipping", there's many tutorials, put a bit of tape on PCB where stab hits it, additionally apply some Permatex or comparable thick dielectric silicone grease on the stabilizer stem, and voila, spacebar and other stabilized buttons work like a charm.
Additional mods i would recommend is to put a little bit of PE foam in the case, and some (2-5) layers of tape modding on PCB.
Yellow Jerrzi switches which on this keyboard are so great, they don't even really need lubing. You could lube them, of course, but even without it's just fine.
Or, one could order better quality plate mount stabilizers and put those instead of horrible stock ones.
An update after about half a year of the heavy usage of these two keyboards. Two months ago, i finally got my 2x pack of Durock V2 plate mount stabs, installed them without even clipping them. It does miracle, guys. The rattly stock stabs were garbage, but now, the only downside of this wonderful keyboard is fixed, with actual decent stabilizers. I loved my A108 and GD100 so much that i ordered a third one just yesterday, just in case something really terrible happens to one of my keyboards, either at my work or home. That's how much i've grown attached to them.
TL;DR: If you are considering buying this keyboard, do so, you most probably won't regret, but additionally, you need to buy something like Durock V2 plate mount, and you're golden.
Really good video 👍
Thank you! 👍
Thank you
Just ordered one!
Enjoy it! I'm still using one
@@YNOTPC My keyboard just arrived in the mail. The yellow switches feel amazing to type on, and it sounds really good too. My spacebar sounds much better than yours though, I think they fixed it since your video came out. Super happy!
I have an aigo a108 and if I'm not mistaken the plate below the switches is metal
On ours it seems plastic. Maybe a design update
You did mention that its good for gaming, I assume it does have ghosting right?
Looking to buy an entry level mechanical keyboard for around 30 bucks, and this seems to be the best one available right now.
It has anti ghosting and does seem to be a good gaming keyboard. I would definitely recommend this keyboard now that they seemed to have sorted the spacebar
you forgot to say why I shouldn't get the blue switches one :(
oh yeah! sorry it's just because the yellow switches are soo good. We personally have not ever had stock switches as good as their yellows.
Just never get clicky switches, lol.

Man, I bought this keyboard, but the wireless receptor is not good enough, and sometimes the keyboard dont work really well, so i thought about using with the cable, but idk if the battery will work well after this, have trouble if i use with the cable? is necessary disconnect the battery?
sorry if have english mistakes(brazilian guy here)
I'd recommend returning the keyboard. It sounds like yours is defective we had no issues on wirless. But no when the wire is connected it goes into wired mode so you don't have to worry about battery
why not the blue switches tho
Mostly an internet meme. But honestly its because cheap and nice blue switches feel kinda the same. The main feature being that they are so loud doesn't appeal to a lot of people.
"Hello, what profile keycaps can be used with this keyboard?"
They are not low profile. Nor are they full size. The are closer to full size though. I dont see the size listed anywhere but you defiantly can use full size keycaps if you'd like
What's the keycap profile?
It's some unstandard size. Slightly smaller than full size.
Is ut good for office does it sound much? For writing
Yeah it shouldn't be too loud and sounds good.
Hi,
This keyboard looks like great value for money but I'm looking for something similar that's more silent than this. I'm now using a 90s keyboard with cherry brown switches which types pretty good but just to loud for the office where I'm working in. Does someone have a recommendation for a keyboard that looks oldschool or vintage like this but is just much more silent? Other than that I quite like something that feels similar to the brown switches and it doesn't have to be wireless if that's to difficult. As long as it's similar to this but much more quiet and also not that expensive I would like to buy that one for the office where I work. I like to press a key really hard without making to much noise
You could get something like this keyoard and just add rubber rings to soften the bottom out sound. The only issue with getting a silent version of brows is that, thats an inherently hard to make keyboard. Browns being tactile means there is a physical click in the middle. There's no real way, im aware of that can soften this sound.
Hey dude, have you found out who manufactures the switches? I noticed there's a green variant but I can't find any videos on them to make the final choice between the two
No they seem to be unbranded so I'd assume they're made by aigo themselves. And I haven't seen the green ones myself
@@YNOTPC It didn't take me long to find some answers, apparently the green switch is clicky for every manufacturer so if you prefer the smooth sound just go for the yellow
what's your deal with the blue switches? You said you don't recommend them. I just bought one with blues because I have one desire: I want it to click like crazy. Is that the problem or something else?
It's good you like them. 👍 I just don't like the high actuation force and they don't sound anywhere as nice in person as other switches to me.
Do you know how many pins the switches are?
looks like 2
@@YNOTPC tyvm!!!
It depends on the version. Don't know for sure if It's because they updated over time, or it depends on the layout/keyboard size. I watched a lot of reviews of they keyboards and some plates have the 5 holes, while others only have 3.
is this xda style keycap?
They're similar. It's a little taller, but yeah, it's mostly similar to xda keycaps
