Hello Kevin, I want to let you know that while in Europe I make Sunday lunch for me and my brother, today I made your spinach stuffed chicken breast. I didn’t have sun dried tomatoes but I added some chopped crispy bacon, they turned out delicious. I made baked potatoes and glazed carrots with them. I will make this desert for next Sunday, thank you for all that you do for us. Feel better Lizette. 🥰

As soon as the soft piano intro music starts, my day becomes brighter and as you skip down the front steps for a sojourn to the berry farm, I can just imagine the flowers, fruits, and other treats to be discovered. Nothing holds forth the very essence of summer more than a fresh ripe peach. And the little snippets of Avery and the kitties make it even more wonderful. I make a good fruit tart...under the fruit on top of cooked pastry dough I spread a mixture of almond paste and cream cheese and top the fruit with melted apricot jam and shivered almonds ...nice to see your dog has a friend😊

What a wonderful summer recipe. I found a close version of this recipe years ago and was thrilled to see what a beautiful and dellicious dessert it is. I came up with a hack for a lazy day where I used canned peaches instead of fresh. While it is never the same as fresh peaches, it is totally yummy. And thanks for saying "parchment" instead of the, in my opinion, redundant "parchment paper" that I hear most often. George Orwell said whenever it it possible to cut a word out, always cut it out. This was a great video that also affirmed the fact that a food processor makes terrific pastry. Thanks!

My father had a huge garden and at the corners he had cherry, plum and peach trees. We used to have so many peaches, we shared with our neighbors. My memories are making many pies, strudel, jams and jelly. Every labor day we would make fresh peach or strawberry ice cream to finish our day. Sometimes, the weather would be chilly,but there we were, eating our ice cream. Other times, I would make crepes with warm peach compote and whipped cream. Yum!!!

To the galette & with deliberate intent of modifying its rustic edging, I would try using a 2nd fruit -(like maraschino cherry). At the rim, & instead of folding over the excess pastry dough, that all around the circumference evenly spaced the cherry would serve as the index finger when, in a glass pie plate fluting the pie dough. / To you &, yours and, Lizbeth, too always the best of health. // D.C

Oh, thank you so much for this pastry recipe and careful instructions! I never have luck with pastry, because my hands are always too "hot" to mix and handle it carefully. It's still a bit early for local peaches in Ontario, but I can't wait to try this. As always, a joy to share with you.

Because how else do you seem to know what's going on in my life lately,!
You decided to buy peaches, and that's exactly what my daughter was craving lately, and had just purchased peaches for her last night!
And one of your last recent videos, you walked right into a farm stand store, and you made a bee line to the beautiful big strawberries, holding them up and displaying them, as though you already knew that my daughter was craving strawberries then, and she bought them too, right at the same time period that you had displayed the strawberries!
And I just ate a nectarine recently too!
We talked about Demeraris sugar too, at home, that's what I use. (Turbanado sugar).

Maybe the presence of a pretty girl always makes a man (even you), slightly cocky.

When you were showing us the different pretty new flowers that you just recently collected, I thought you looked cute!
You know, where you were standing, with the sun high above, and the view of the green grass area of your back side yard?
And I like the view of your side garden beside your house window.
(Where you were working with the Romaine lettuce).
And I watched how you lovingly planted the new flowers into your flower bed, using that tool to smooth the soil attached to the roots, before you placed it into the soil bed.
You seemed to do this affectionately, like they were your beloved pets!
And lastly, I really like the new arrangement of your tea table, tucked close to those bay windows, with the plants all around.
That is so old-time homey, like I was visiting Anne of Green Gables time period!
(My daughter read that book when she was only 6 years old).
She is 26 now, and I just turned 58 in May.
Can I ask how old you are Kevin?
