Generic advice should not be featured in podcasts. While she may be well-accomplished, credibility is essential when discussing certain topics. For instance, when addressing issues related to children, it’s better to invite experts in child psychology, family development, and related fields.
    This podcast lacks differentiation:
    Late childbearing and societal opinions.
Transitioning from rented accommodation to owning property, especially during the 90s.
    The importance of family.
Parents understanding their children, particularly during adolescence, and other common issues faced by Indian parents.
Please dont let the benchmark of inviting people with matter and accomplishments that you have always invited. Her way on communicating is not right also.
At least invite professors from reputed universities in the field.

Kindly learn the difference between someone being an expert taking degrees and someone being expert by experience.

@@Pbaruah1991 While agreeing partially to whatever you are saying, I would also highlight my point to your statement regarding inviting professors from reputed universities. First, university students are mostly adults, or have just crossed their adolescence stage. Also, university/college professors hardly spend time with students to discuss their personal, emotional well-being due to lack of time or may be because of the demand of the educational system where they are bound to keep writing research papers which mostly offer very limited practical contributions on life and humanity. Again, if all the experts have to be faculty members from university and colleges, then those places should have been the safest abode for the students. Unfortunately, most of the cases of suicides come from these higher educational institutions. So, I couldn't agree with you completely.
A roadside vendor (with very limited academic qualification) may teach us the best lessons of life while a gold medalist may seem silent and clueless when it's something out of the prescribed course plan and syllabus. I am not disrespecting any profession being a student of Humanities, but we need to stop continuing such stereotypes.
(Personal opinion on the basis of being a university student).
      Best regards

Dear, as a Faculty member with a PhD in this domain, I've worked on externally funded assignments and been invited to conferences as a keynote speaker and guest lecturer. It's ironic to hear from non-faculty that faculty members lack access to students' safety. While I acknowledge that exceptions exist in case of students committing suicide/ suffering depressions/ etc. We can learn from anyone - be it a roadside vendor, bus driver, student, house help, friends, parents, etc. However, this platform disseminates knowledge to a wider audience, requiring structured expertise. Without it, we can't educate the world effectively. If we're not experts but enthusiasts, we should cite scientific references, quote others, or clarify that our views are based on experience. Otherwise, anyone can speak on anything, right? What's the point of pursuing a PhD or being a professor if not to make a meaningful impact? That's why experts should stick to their domain - Modi talks politics, singers discuss singing, astrologers focus on astrology. There's a reason for Expert Talks.
