I hope you all enjoyed my incessant rambling about your favorite books! This video was super fun to film. I loved reading all the different genres and was super happy to find a five star read! Let me know what else I should read. Maybe I’ll do another reading vlog (no promises though lol).
Now that I’ve finally finished this video, I feel ready to come back to UA-cam. This last month has been busy and stressful, but things have calmed down. I’m so grateful for all of you for sticking around and constantly reassuring me that it was okay to take a break. You guys are the best!! 🩷

Your kindle is beautiful, and I totally understand the Anne with an E one because I’ve watched it twice and someone lent the book and I did enjoy watching it more but then again there were two seasons on the show so I feel like I knew more, and I was kind of upset when I just ended up like that in the book ❤
I’m glad someone else felt the same way 😭 But I’ve heard that the books are really different from the show later on, so I might keep reading the series!

⭐️ Stolen by Lucy Christopher (thriller-ish, mystery, absolutely insane lol, super interesting and quick read)
⭐️ Percy Jackson (fantasy series, Greek mythology, middle grade but still super good!)
⭐️ The Cruel Prince (fantasy trilogy, fast paced, quick reads)
I recommend just trying different genres and figuring out what you like best!! I find that mystery, romance, and fantasy are really good genres for beginners bc they’re often fast paced and easy to get into!

This video makes me want to read for hours, it’s so calming! I would highly recommend to read more of the Anne of Green Gables series because the story starts to veer (in the best way possible) from the Netflix series after the first book.

I think I am changing my major 😣 Communications was pretty good but I just don’t think it’s the best option for me! The career path(s) that I’m interested in don’t really fit with a communications major. We’ll see what happens though bc anything can happen! ☺️💓💓

I saw you reading the island on Goodreads…. And I also read it. The writing honestly was just… man…not good, it wasn’t the best book imo 😭😭 you shouldn’t be completely solving the mystery only halfway through, super predictable and the writing lowkey felt like a badly thought out writing assignment… IDK MAN IM

No, this is valid! I’ve definitely read wayyyy better mystery books 😂 I didn’t notice an issue with the writing but I saw a lot of other people had the same opinion. The story also don’t blow my mind but the ending still shocked me 😂 I just liked that it wasn’t scary, you know? I really hate scary/creepy stuff so I liked that this book didn’t have that element. I love hearing everyone’s perspectives though!! 💓💓
