I have the same piano for 10 years already but the sustain pedal started working strange since last month.. sometimes it works for a few minutes and then it would abruptly stop holding the notes. Thank you for filming this! Now I know what to try 😉
In my case not only I had your same exact problem, just like you described, but also followed a similar procedure than this to fix it some 7 years ago... And now I'm back to the same problem...

I have roland rp102. And I encountered the same issue after 2 months of playing. This solution worled for me for a few days but now its again the same thing. The sustain pedal sometimes holds noted and sometimes it doesn't.
what exactly did you do to fix the white clip attached to the sustain pedal? All you did was rotate it a few times. Was that it? A voice over explanation in lieu of the "summer chill" track
would have helped me better.
I only rotated the white clip because there was something obstruct it to be at a proper position.
I have a theory. I'm having the exact same problem and I think that overtime that white thing kind of slides to the side, losing some grip with the potentiometer therefore not completing the minimum range. I think you need to put something in between so it does not slide right

My sustain pedal works but the squeak is so loud I can't focus. How can I stop it ? the piano is over 10 years old
You may disassemble the squeak key and clean the electric contact beneath it.
