How I Fixed My M-Audio Keyboard Sustain Pedal (Minor Repair)

This video was exactly what I needed to see. I searched for my keyboard thinking it was an issue registering it, found this video as the top result with the exact same pedal which I got given to me by chance, I opened it up, dead bug, dust. Cleaned it, works perfectly.

nice ....this seems to be a very common flaw in the m audio pedal. I am surprised that pressing the pedal with the screw lose or out didnt cause hinge damage :)

Thank you, I found the source of the issue (squeaky pedal) hinge screw had fallen out, thanks again👍. Where’s that video🤔 how to fix my Leslie

Does anyone know? I connected the piano pedal to the piano, but it doesn't work and the keyboard doesn't make any music sound. When I plug in the piano pedal, no sound appears.

i have vfp1/25 used on yamaha psr3000 for 15 years, this pedal not working on roland fp10, why? i have changed also polarity switch in the rear pedal. works the opposite of a normal pedal (push and the sustain stops)
If I change the polarity on the back switch it doesn't work.
