Lisbeth, your process is lovely and inspiring and I enjoy spending time with you. At almost 78, I find the rate at which I must adapt to the changes of the matrix world (like the loss of art/craft supply or bookstore) often times overwhelming and exhausting but also challenging, necessary. My husband (teacher ) and I had a wonderful brick and mortar taichi and qigong school in San Francisco for years before the pandemic. We adjusted and now practice with our students every morning online. And we are grateful to be able to do that but it’s not the same. My point is that you have created an online atmosphere that allows us to entrain with you, be present with you. With kind regards, Annie
I know what you mean, all that new technology is hard to cope with when you get older (68) I have no children or any other younger family member to help, so I am quite lost sometimes. Thank you for your kind words. I like to teach and since Denmark is s very small country (not many students) and I can’t travel around the world I have made this platform here in UA-cam and slowly the community is growing.
Hi Lisbeth, I love watching and listening to your tutorials - thank you. Today the picture on my laptop screen lock was of Sorvagsvatn Lake in the Faroe Islands. The colours instantly reminded me of your favourites and I gained a deeper insight into why those colours are so attractive. Warmest best wishes from East Lothian Scotland.
Having your local art shop closing is like losing a dear friend. Today's mixed media piece is creative. I love the gesso on the text collage, and really like the hello print flowers. More texture than stenciling directly on the page. Love it!!
Sorry about the shop. It happens in Portugal too. We had many shops with stitching materials and they’re all closing, not only because of online shopping, but also because in Portugal there are many shops owned by Chinese people and they sell everything very, very cheap. The quality is not as good, but there are fewer and fewer people making art, whether it’s stitching or other kinds of crafts… I love your pages! They look like abstract flowers and the contrast between the black and the earthy tones is fabulous 🖤🧡🤎🖤🧡🤎🖤🧡🤎🖤🧡🤎
Yes it’s a sad development. In fact I have done variegated rayon thread/ yarn I bought in Lissabon many years ago. As far as w remember it was in a very small shop with embroidery stuff in a small street near the big shopping street in the city center.
I am very sorry about your local art shop. And I have never shopped with Temu. Like others, I always prefer a real shop. It’s a much nicer experience touching and feeling something first and chatting with people in the shop. I’m lucky, and grateful, that I can easily get to many of the shops I need. 🙏 And if I can’t, then I choose small independent online businesses. Thank you as ever for a lovely video and great inspiration. ❤
I sympathize with ur local art shop closing. It's very sad. The same problem exists in Canada. Like u, I boycott Temu, but I do order from Amazon Canada for the convenience. And now back to ur video.
Everybody-boycott temu! It’s not what you think it is. It’s an assault on your personal information, once you buy from them, they have you in their system and your personal info is a risk! What a sad thing for your little store to close. It’s happening everywhere.
I bought from them before I knew what it was. I no longer do. That said, yes they had my payment info but it is protected from fraud so I have not had a problem.

Totally agree about Temu. Sorry about the closing of the shop. This kind of thing is happening all over the planet.
I know but it makes me feel sad
@ it is sad!

Og, I have been to the Faroe Islands but not at the place you mentioned. I also like many of the pic my PC starts with when I turn it on.
Thank you

This technique and stencil is surprisingly very effective.👍

Gorgeus.
I don' t buy either by temu
Thank you. If people keep on doing it we will not have any special independent shops in our neighborhood.
@@lisbethdegn-dragenkunst …..sadly some of us never did!
Thank you!😊
You’re welcome
Lovely page. Do you by any chance know the brand of that stencil?
Think it’s from TCW. Thank you
