You guys are THE series we are referencing to get an idea of what a lot of this work looks like in the real world. The level of detail and visuals is making our process really understandable.
Aww wow! That’s an incredibly nice comment 🥰🥰 we pride ourself with our videos being realistic, fun to watch, educational, while also showing our personality! If you ever wanna reach out, our insta dms are always open!! 😃
Great decision on buying new Windows, they are an Intregal part of your bus not only the look but for the structure. It's so enjoying to watch this build, how well you work together and how much you respect each other ❤️ I'm sure you have moments but don't we all. Looking forward to your next project it's interesting
I'm so happy You went with New windows. You Guys are my Inspiration, And now I'm totally convinced on getting Seamless windows! Thank you, AWSOME Job :)
They're gorgeous!! Ethan's mind was blown when you told him that backgrounds existed in real life LMAO. Deciding to get the new windows over the junk yard ones was definitely the right choice, but I love that your first thought was to try and re-purpose old ones
Thank you!!!! I know Ethan is so funny 😂 hopefully we get to show him a real background one day! We’re glad we decided to go with new windows but I hope to repurpose other things in our build!
I'm so glad I found your channel. I think I found my bus. It's already started so I can move in and work on it. I plan to stay in Florida, or mostly. The idea in my head is to leave the windows but build folding awnings for shade and privacy and security when they're down. 6' of awning should help cool it when it's folded out. I subbed to your channel, looks like a lot of great info. Thanks.
@@AdamandAtlas If I get the bus I'll get definitely make videos. Mine will be less finished and less fancy, especially in the beginning. But it might help people see that it's an affordable option for housing. Plus I'm a little eccentric so I love the idea.
I wouldn’t really recommend using wood as structure around things like windows because it’s much easier to rot. Steel is much stronger, especially when cutting out a channel that’s already on the bus to fit a window, that load needs to be diverted. Using steel is definitely the proper way to do it!
Looks amazing great choice, planning on doing the same to our bus. My only question is why didn't you just cut from the inside ? Then you wouldn't have to transfer your measurements to the outside or worry about taping or scratching the bus ?
Love following your channel, thank you for such great documentation!! I just got an 04 International CE200 with 12 windows and the t444e What is the year and specs on your bus? And did y’all consider residential windows at all? I know the insulation/double pane aspect can be great for efficiency
Thank you so much! We’re so happy you’re here! That’s a really great bus you got. We have a 07 international CE300 with a dt466e, 9 windows. We didn’t consider house windows, only because Adam and I don’t really like the juxtaposition of house items on a vehicle (windows, doors, etc) we want everything on our bus to be designed for vehicles! That’s just our preference though!
Theres an exit window in the front and the rear. The window in the front just happened to be an exit window. But it doesn’t hurt having an extra way out if the door is jammed or something.
Damn guys this such an impressive build. What a journey!
Thank you!!
You made the right call spending extra on windows. It makes a big impact on your day to day quality of life- good choice!!
Beautiful windows. I would consider that a very worthy investment in your project 👍

planning up front saves on the labor - it also makes sense to provide the proper support around the windows
I am learning more and you're doing a nicer job than some more professional converters do. Thank you for the time you put into these videos.
Thank you so much! We appreciate that 💙
In my opinion the splurge was a good choice. The results are stunning "."
Hurts the bank but definitely worth it!!! Thank you so much! 😌
Money will come and money will go, but your memories will last you a lifetime. Good onya

looks excellent my plan exactly

@@comfortablynumb9342 amazing!! The beauty of this community is that it can be for anyone! So many different things you can do to a bus! 🥰
Those windows look amazing!!
Thank you!!
This looks really neat! Great job!
Thanks buddy!
@@AdamandAtlas you're welcome!
Great job on this….would love to do something like this.
Thank you, go for it!!
Beautiful!!! I'm curious if you considered wood and why you (if so) decided not to use wood :)

You could cut from the inside. We just found it more visually intuitive for placement to position them from the outside.
My autistic heart broke when Adam scratched that paint 😱😱😱 I would have defo thrown a temper tantrum 🙈🙈🙈
I totally forgot to ask, What size is your largest window?(most exited about). And are you guys having your bus Spray Foam insulated?
It’s a 42x22”! Yes we are getting it spray foamed 😃
Looks awesome guys keep it up. Can you name the manufacture or no.👍🏻👍🏻
Yes, lippert components! We will include all information in our how to video! Thanks so much!
"December 16, 2022" ???!!!
Y'all are living in the future. 🤣
I know I messed up on that one 😂😂 oopsies
@@AdamandAtlas Love y'all's videos. Those windows look so slick!
Future Steph, how is the pandemonium? LOL Should I plan a party for 2023?
@@eBookHoarder 100%!! futures looking bright!!!
Did you spray the paint or roll or brush? Thanks, GREAT JOB!!
The blue and black on our bus we sprayed! We have a couple videos on our paint job on our channel!
Next time use suction cups that pulls out dents to hold the panel from falling $10 for 2.....or drill 2 holes and use along bolt with 2 nuts 😜
We used welding magnets from the inside for the last window. The real problem was a lack of hands bc 1 of us was filming and the other was cutting lol

what gauge metal did you use to skin the bus?? Nicely done!
We used 16 gauge galvanized sheet metal. Check out our how to sheet metal video for more information!

The bus is painted a beautiful blue. Do you happen to remember the color name?
Thank you
The color name is “OSHA Blue” if i recall correctly.
@@AdamandAtlas Thank you!
You could just tape the bottom plate of the jigsaw.
Wow… now we feel silly 😂 that’s such a smart idea! Thanks!
I really like the windows a lot! What is the name of the company that makes them?
Lippert components!
Why would you put an exit window next to the front door? Goes in the back in case of a fire.
Theres an exit window in the front and the rear. The window in the front just happened to be an exit window. But it doesn’t hurt having an extra way out if the door is jammed or something.
Window cost, brand and supplier information please
Will be sure to include this in our how-to video!
How did you find a workshop to work on your bus?
We were fortunate enough to have personal connections!!
Where is Steph's channel......?
She hasn’t made one yet, but if and when she does, ill update the description in this video!
