On this map, I created a field of chaff for silage (for a modular BGA) that takes up nine farmland squares. 8, 9, 10, 18, 19, 20, 28, 29, and 30. 72 hectares of land. Counting only what I could put in fermenting production buildings I pulled 9,887,000 L. There was an additional 4-5 million between two PlanET 25m x 34m silo bunkers. The second crop pulled in 15,601,952 liters of chaff for silage. I used two forage harvesters and two 53’ Dropdeck Tipper Trailers (mods) with 1 million liter capacity each. 15 trips and a partial. Fields 1-5 and 35-37 are two grass fields, and 6, 7, 16, 17, 26, and 27 make up a third. They pull about 3 million liters of grass/hay per cut. 7 other fields are for rotating other crops - grains, cotton, potatoes, and sugarbeets and there is still room for two more fields. I have also designated a large production building area and animal pens.
Map is American Farmlands by TK Farms It's a sandbox kinda map so although it means a bit of work you can design it how you wish blank canvas style, with the mods out there you could set up any kind of town/village with shops, businesses and industry if you wish, or just have farms or whatever you want. Good to have some maps with this freedom as pre-designed maps are awesome but they tie you in to some of their design choices, a mostly empty one like this means you have full freedom to build what you want (worth using a mod that lets you reset the finances afterwards as of course you'll burn a tonne of cash doing so) So if you're going for this freestyle approach you can think about the type of game you want, what and how you want to farm, if you want big or small farms, natural or industrial etc etc then plan out the areas and set it up your way, I've even got an idea I've tried out of putting some animal pens round the animal dealer so as to bring it to life with some animals it has on sale (auction pens etc), have some screenshots on Steam of the test I did for this designing dealer pens for the animal sales point using pens and animals as if scenery items (search animal on on Steam Community Farming Simulator 22 screenshots to find them including the aerial shot id=2979501448), so a map like this gives you some awesome creative/realism options like this.
