The availability of food is not the cause for obesity or ruined stomach linings. No one is forcing you or the kids to eat this stuff. Learn to have self discipline and teach it to your kids and in turn maybe you and your kids can influence other people as well to eat in moderation.

He had to take a position or be let go. He became a puppet but a richer puppet. He's a spokesperson for a product he doesn't own. Its called intellectual property: "The Company will own (a) any inventions, trade secrets, ideas, original works of authorship or confidential information that Employee conceives, develops, discovers or makes in whole or in part during Employee's employment by the Company that relate to the Company's business or the Company's actual or demonstrably. At least the opportunity came to him and he took it. Congrats! It's better to have 10% of something than 100% of nothing. They didn't steal his destiny, they stole his idea.
He has a better life nevertheless.
