You’re right-it is a very gradual fade. I use this yarn frequently for my scarves that I donate to a charity. I make the scarf by chaining 320 stitches, and crochet the scarf horizontally. I use an entire cake and it makes a 6 1/2’ x 6” scarf with a wonderful gradual fade.
from Gerry- The results are lovely. What is you started the warp with the white end- would the weft be long enough to show gradients of pink? Blessings.
I considered that. The answer is, I'm not sure! 😄 Honestly, it just doesn't seem like it was big enough - this might have been a good candidate for a larger double weave project.
I just have to smile big when I get up and your video is there waiting! I thoroughly enjoy your videos, I have watched them all. What size is your loom, 15 inches?

Thank you SO much! I really appreciate the kind words. 😊 I have a 16" Ashford rigid heddle.
Good solution. Were there any joins in the ball?
Not one! You reminded me, I want to start including that information on the description page.
I wonder how that would look as clasped weft for the 2 shuttles.
Oh! 🤦 That's such a great idea! Sometimes I feel like I need to weave every yarn in at least 3 different ways. 😄
