Amazing ❤❤❤ Loving the format and the new price! For those who don’t get why another one and similar price: This think is all about it’s engine, and no, you can’t have this as a plugin because your CPU will either die or get vampirized like hell (check the specs of the beast). The hands on controls while having the touch screen seemed to some as a duplicate and I can understand why they make a smaller version. Next on my shopping list, definitely!
While the device itself is very impressive and has it's own merits, I wouldn't consider the CPU exceptionally powerful in any regard. Any modern mid to high range CPU being intel, amd, or apple silicone wouldn't have any issue running a vst with similar capabilities. Not to discredit the Iridium in anyway, I love this device.
This video convinced me to buy an iridium. Sold it, then bought the keyboard version and I will never part with it. An endless sound creation device and the interface is far and above tge best I’ve ever used. This video not only used great sounds but the animation was beautiful
I hadn't expected a smaller form factor for this. But I think it's a great idea. I love my Iridium desktop - it's a powerhouse! Given some time, I might add Core as an expansion. If only the Kyra had some of this kind of ownership.
Amazing little power house of a synth! But that price! I bought my Iridium desktop a few years ago for cheaper! If I was in the market for a synth like this I would probably just pay the extra for the desktop version. Looks great though and obviously sounds amazing!
This desktop format is more flexible because you can easily add any minikey keyboard, or any expensive fully weighted Fatar keyboard with 88 keys and hammer action if you prefer. On the contrary, removing a built-in minikey keyboard would have been impossible, if you don't like or need minikeys!
This is the exact same promo and sounds from the original dedktop launch. Only the original has more features hands on control whilst also having more midi options and more voices. Might as well get the better original.
The first day one of my local stores set the price at 1,500 Euro. Within a few minutes I decided to buy this equipment. Unfortunately, the next day the price was raised to 1,900 Euro. At this point it doesn't make any sense. Very poorly priced product.
I mean, I think its unnecesary, it has the same things as the original synth, is just less buttons but it has almost same price, the og Iridium is better fr Also, for the producers, the microfreak has lot of options, including granular synthesis
You could always send the manufacturer a private email rather than posting on a public forum if you don’t like people chiming in with suggestions to your pithy comments 🤷🏻♂️
@@bondi5000 There was an email conversation, but still I think it's too expensive, yet I will get me one, once the price is more to my liking and if it comes with vesa mounting. Besides that UA-cam is public for both sides and one can agree or disagree to the opinions posted here.

Mines coming tomorrow !
Im looking to down size from a novation summit to this. Table top form factor seems the way to go.
i'd love a pigments controller that looked like this. and it wouldnt cost nearly 2k?
Are Core patches compatible with the Iridium Keyboard? If so - where do we get them?
This is a great idea.

I did just that. :(
LOVE the sounds! This in a 37 minikeys synth would be crazy sweet for us plebs 😅
As a true pleb I know there’s plenty of cheap midi keyboard options out there to hook up with Iridum core

Amazing! Well done, Waldorf. Now can we have an update to the Blofeld, or a Blofeld Mini or some such?
no midi?
Great stuff. Like a Blofeld on steroids.
Will these patches be available to download for the desktop or keys ?
No K. Schroeder in the list?
Does it really need additional ads before watching a promo?
I had no ads before? What do you mean? The ads from youtube plattform?
@@lummsmusik3219 yeah, those of UA-cam. There should be a way to turn them off.
Yeah, youtube stuck an ad around 5:55, towards the end of the video... it's an ad within an ad, like adception...
Nice 👍

Pushing my Blofeld to the side of desk & making some room for the (Heart)Core 🤑🤩
Even though it's $2,000?
@@DawlessHouseMusic gonna sell it if i don't like it, simple as that
Excited for the Jexus patches to come.
Blofeld sounds awesome for the price ! but today for digital sounds i prefer to go software really..
Hardstyle producer Zatox told me the blofeld was a b*** to use, how do you feel about that?
The effect section is very basic. There should be many more effects for a premium software based synthesizer
If I promised not to mention the price and just said about how lush it sounds would you send me a discounted model?
Say about 50% discount?

I guess if your into video games
As an owner of Iridium keyboard - the pricing of this product is off.

That price... :(
The higher the price, the more interesting the synth.
Give it triple digit price and youll get buyers.

When the price has come down to earth, you shall have my money. You greedy.....
Price is ok. What would you pay for this? So maybe you are not the right customer and go for software plugins. That’s ok.
@@lummsmusik3219 Thanks for weighing in 👍

It's overpriced. Definately.
Nice but expensive
For the price I would rather have a hydrasynth desktop
Insane silly greedy price. I would of thought this would be around 899 ish so on that basis I’m out …..
These sounds are easily recreated by Opsix Why this fucking synth so expesive?
