22:20 you can have a clock on the standby screen in the settings.
Pressing the cold and hot slider buttons at the same time switches on each sides heated seats.
Very nice review. Can you turn off the Adaptive part of the cruise control in the settings menu and use it as a regular cruise control?

Got mine 2 weeks ago, I love it.
There is one thing that I would say has not been tested thoroughly by the engineers and that is the Aluminum trim piece on the wheel (12:36), it reflects the sun rays to your eyes if you are driving on a sunny day, sometimes very dangerous.
In general chrome and aluminium does that.

I'm really considering getting this car as my next, since I don't really like the design in the Golf 8 and I like what Seat has done with the new Leon. They've ticked a lot of boxes for me.
So, I do have some questions.. 😁
1. The wired carplay is quite a big bummer. I thought carplay worked wirelessly on all the new generation VAG cars. Are you sure it's not also wireless or if maybe it can be enabled later? I know it has something to do with 5GHz wifi support of the headunit etc. but I don't know how to find out.
2. I don't know if you've had the chance to test both w/ and w/o DCC, but would you say it's worth getting the DCC? I mean the dynamic suspension with driving profiles, etc? Especially since it's a ~750 EUR option.
3. There's a 'wireless key' icon on the bottom of the center small cupholder, here @ 16:12 What does that indicate? You can charge the keyfob there?
4. Again, I don't know what driving assists package the tested car had, but when getting the safe driving XL package, which includes 'travel assist', does it slow down to a stop and go again by itself in a traffic jam? I didn't find an actual demo or full description of that.
Thanks for the review. Looking forward to all you videos with this car. I hope to learn more about the consumption as well since I'm considering this exact model or the e-hybrid.
LE: just to clarify, on point 1. about carplay, it actually IS possible to wirelessly connect an iphone for apple carplay. I don't know why the model tested by Josip here did not work, but I've found the information on a seat website - seat-mediacenter.com and also some Leon owners who confirmed it works with carplay. On point 2. about the adaptive suspension, some said it's not worth it because it's not really comfortable and noisy over bumps, so I guess I will try testdriving and see for myself, but I think for the price it should be ok.
I will take the cupra Leon next year.

Daj mi reci kakav ti je novi Leon u vožnji preko rupa i poprečnih neravnina, ili tračnica, ako si prelazio željez.-cestovne prijelaze? Obzirom da auto ima i dalje polukrutu osovinu, na koju se svi žale na prijašnjim VAG modelima... Da li je velika razlika u odnosu na Golf 8 sa multilinkom?
Darko Jurak Golf je mali udobniji, ali su dosta slični na cesti.
Love your videos! have you noticed different build material and internal quality between this one and the new Audi A3? is the price difference justified?
Audi is better made, but lacks many standard features you get in VW, Seat or Škoda, with wanted options it’s way to expensive and becoming overpriced. And it’s best second hand used. While Seat is pretty decent in all trims with few options it’s a great value for money.

Do you know if the FR version has this rear light animation at 37:06 standard or is that somehow optional?
I think it is standard on upgraded LED headligt trim.

This car with the 130ps 1.5tsi or mazda 3 sedan g122? I love the bright interior on this one. Also the connected back lights are super cool.
Leon is much more of a car then Mazda. More engine options, more practical, more equpiment options, newer model etc. If you live in Europe I would suggest you buy Leon as the service network is much larger and it will be easier to repair it and find workshops and spare parts. BTW 1.5 TSI is miles ahead the 2.0 regarding performance and consumption

It’s an option or part of higher package.
If you don't mind me asking how much would you estimate this option to cost.
I just don't see the point in paying for the mild hybrid version, makes the car heavier and you don't really gain much at all in acceleration or fuel economy, especially when you can't plug it in or can't use it in electric mode for short distances.

Na Ateci facelift je isto radar dole posebno, tako će izgleda odsada, iako je u znaku bio bolji/ljepši.
Ova cijela nova generacija VW/Škoda/Seat je bezveze/pojeftinjena, treba pričekat slijedeću...
The real exhausts are reserved to non-hybrid (mild or plug-in) models, as far as I know. Even the Cupra Plug-In has fake exhausts..

I’ve just bought the old fr st estate has nearly the same spec and a much easier to use info system and a bad idea the over complicated heating set up in the new car don’t like it old system much easier to use and clearer and you’ve lost the under seat storage i do like the lighting outside and in but overall still like the outgoing car better especially the built in info system the new one is an afterthought ugly spoils the interior Robert guest Norfolk 😀🤪

Not really impressed with it. The back of the car is really nice and plenty of gadgets inside. I had a choice to get the exact car but the car looks basic. So instead went for a seat Leon cupra 290 2019 a lot better interior and more sporty outside. And £50 cheaper a month. I think I'll wait for the new seat Leon cupra and give it a year or two before purchase. I just think they need more time to make the car look better.
Exactly same thoughts. I like the old model much more. Maybe the interior is just slighlty cooler in this new one.
The cheap infotainment is the reason to do not buy a car. Only octavia is a great car out of all 4 which came out.
...and it has the same infotainment scheme like the rest...
