I only wear Jadon's these days, I absolutely love them. I'm 6' 3' and those 2 inch soles makes me tower over most people, they're such a buzz to wear. Just ordered a third pair in the sale of the Jadon technical. I have a pair of the quad shoes which after many wears still don't feel broken in yet, they're so gorgeous to wear as shoes.

The leather shrinks, I wouldn't recommend sizing down. You can talk to someone at the store they will tell you the same.
Great review, thank you. Bought a new motorcycle that is a wee bit (okay, a lot) too tall for me, and I’m hoping those soles will help me get that extra inch or so to get my foot down without leaning it over too much.

The Jadons are Superhero boots.. they make me feel special.. You really got a good deal on them... I'm sure the previous owner felt like they will never break in them so they just wanted to get rid of them..I like the zipper because I can get my feet in and out of the boots easily.
Yeah the zipper is really functional! I miss it a little on the Audrick I just got. I’d imagine a lot of Jadon/smooth leather owners can’t handle the break in process and end up selling them after a few wears. I totally get it tho, that shxt is painful lol, but worth it!

I love the Jadons I just got a pair last month! Only complaint is that the black finish on the zippers (on both boots) is chipping off from me just using it. They are definitely not everyday boots and definitely more so occasional boots.

where are yours made in? after such use my jadons started ripping and I'm thinking quality may differ in countries. It would be extremely helpful if you could share this as I LOVE the Jadons and want another pair

Good review. I always wear the 1490’s 10 hole. I found that the 1460 with only 8 holes dig into my heel & calf as you break em in. The 10 hole version only torture your heel. Tons of band-aides to protect the heel. With the two inch sole these Jordon Doc’s should last a couple of lifetimes. Did you find the top of your Doc’s digging into your calf?
The biggest issue I’ve had with Docs is the back of the heel rubbing up and down 💀 wearing double socks helps!
I find DM Bex double stitch with 1.5 inch sole more masculine than these (Jadon 's with 2 inch sole is little over the edge.. from my perspective)

Hmmm, possibly. The zipper makes them feel pretty snug, but since the tongue is so tall in the front, it might flop down a bunch without laces. Idk, I prefer pretty snug and tight lacing in the front, but we all have different styles and preferences so give it a shot!
I wouldn’t recommend kneeling or crouching or anything that creases the sole as it can start opening from the inner side

Hello there. I'm planning to buy jadon dr martens since dr martens is no longer available here in the Philippines. I have 9 inches footlength and most of my shoes are US 7. Do I need to size down? Me and my older sister has the same shoe size. She has dr martens too and she told me
that US 6 is recommended for me since US 7 is loose to her feet
If you have the same shoe size as your sister, I’d recommend going with her size

There is cucumber on sole for men and a split peach 🍑 on sole of woman shoe.
It will have both men and woman’s sizing on the boot
They are cool, but the quality ain't there to reflect the price. Had one pair of Jadon, and the sole on one of the boots was miss align, make it really, uncomfortable to walk in.
Yeah their quality has gone down a ton in the last decade 🥲
