Drawing is a creative and rewarding skill that can be learned and developed with practice. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, I hope I can provide you with the necessary steps to improve your drawing abilities. Learning how to draw will help you in all other mediums, such as painting and pastels. I have taught drawing tutorials, courses and classes for over 25 years. I first began teaching adults how to draw and then added youth classes. In 2003, I designed and implemented Canada's first online drawing classes offered through Community Colleges. I still teach these courses today, which are offered in over 12 Ontario Community Colleges. I believe anyone can learn how to draw but remember, learning to draw takes time and patience.

I’m practicing drawing clouds. It’s taking a bit, but I’m not quitting.
I want my clouds to look like that. I am going to keep watching your content. Thank you.
Thank you for the support! Keep practicing! You will get there!
Wow! I worked on this throughout the day and really got the look I wanted!! Thank you for sharing your work! I used what I had - cotton ball, eraser, fingers :) kindly thanks!!
Excellent!!! I am glad I was able to help! Yes, cotton balls, erasers, whatever you have!
I’m a beginner and this was great!
Great to hear! I am glad it helps.
I’m drawing something not from reference, but I’m trying to make a full sky of rolling clouds. Does this technique work without space from the sky being present?
I am actually making a sketch of a plane flying over a country side and fields, so my plane is in light shade and my fields or land is bit darker than the plane ,so will this type of clouds be suitable for the drawing? Or should i darken the sky or lighten the sky?
To have the plane stand out against these types of clouds, you will want to have some darker shadows on the plane.
@@RealisticPencilDrawing I just did the same, now the drawing is looking good just because of the clouds, thank you so much , I always thought that drawing the clouds and sky was very difficult but it was the most easiest part because of you, thank you 🙏🙏, I sub to you 😊
@@MinexGamer30426 Great to hear the drawing looks good and you were able to draw the clouds.
What can I do if the sky beyond the clouds is light and not darker than the clouds themselves?
Try shading around the clouds again and then blendi with a tissue. From there you could make the edges wispy again using a kneaded eraser.
