- BOULDER, Colo. - A Boulder couple says they have fallen victim to a gnome snatcher who grabbed the garden guard from their front yard.
Kristine Jensen Smith and her husband David don't think they'll be getting their gnome back, based on the emails they've gotten from the gnome-napper, claiming to be a member of the "Gnome Liberation Front."
"Don't people have anything better to do with their time?" asked Kristine. "It was out in the front of the yard, kind of in the corner, we do have a few more around but this was closest to the street."
The couple lives in the in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Boulder.
"They said they renamed him Elvis and that we didn't have respect for him because we never named him so I don't think we'll ever see him again," she told 7NEWS.
