I love flying this plane. My only gripes are that the prop is a bit of a lawnmower when taking off and landing on grass and that the front landing gear gets bent very easily on less-than-soft landings. Other than that it has been a great plane for me to fly after gaining some skills on the Apprentice.
One thing thats a blast to do on that plane that almost most pilots never try is bump up to hogh rates and do a bunch of snap rolls on 4s batteries. it performs them just flawlessly and is a big kick in the pants to do
Hey Greg, love this 🦅! I found a trick for landing in a cross wind. Use you cross wind to your advantage by flying right into it and get the plane as close to ground of the the runway then kick your rudder to get the plane to go down the runway for the rest of roll out. You have to just keep you wings level is the key! Hope this tip helps you. Happy Flying! 👍😃
Great plane and some great landings!!! Love the Cherokee!!

I'm an aerobatic/3d flyer. This plane amazed me! Maxed out the throws & zeroed the expos & it IS very acrobatic!
@@old-rcplane-phart Yep its a secret feather in its hat. Fun Fun Fun Discovery that most people wouldnt assume its good at.
I will try a snap roll in it then. I will need to move the clevises to max deflection first though.
@@FatGuyFliesRC i have my Aileron Rods on the inside hole of the servo arm and bump up to high rate on my radio and it does it just fine.
A nice recommendation of a worthy plane. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
