Hi Ian, Flaperons are cool, they can hinder Aileron movements - but I do have a few aircraft that needs them the Xfly Twin liner being one of them, I really did like my Super EZ, sold it to Brian Forward who was working (new Paint scheme) , but alas he never got to fly it.. You make it look Super EZ fly it Ian (See what I did) LOL - Hope you are both well,
Thanks Martyn, yes I miss Brian and his funny videos, shame he didn't get to fly the EZ, yes it's a fab little plane, hopefully on a calm day I'll get to test the flaperons out!! Thanks for watching and commenting 🤓👍
Hi Ian … this is a very exciting video for me as you know the Super EZ started my model flying …. And V3 !! Think my one is a V2 ?? Guys at Bude club talk about Flaperons … not got into that that but will do if not this year definitely next year…. Well done for flying in these conditions … Thank you Michael
@@IansRCExploits Yes you are totally right …. I get this V4 at a great price following you great advice where to buy … tempered to buy another to have as backup !! It’s that good ….
Looking forward to the next video on the flaperons. I'm interested in them. The fms flew great with no gyro just straight receiver. I had a question my bl 10 motor went out on my timber x. I was thinking of using T-Motor AT2826 900KV as a replacement, have you ran any of them?
Thanks JCO, when I get chance to test the flaperons I will try to do a video!! No I've had no experience of a T-motor at all, is it a 10 size like the BL 10? The problems I've found in the past when replacing motors is different mounting hole positions!! And different size and length motor shafts 🤓👍
@@IansRCExploits yes that is the issue with the timber x. the bl 10 is in the timber x 1.2m can size 35mm by 35mm the mounting area is well horizon hobby designed for horizon products, other wise i found an awesome power plant from scorpion like you said the mounting is wrong for it. the t-motor is all i could find other than a cheep motor that i wouldn't trust on a bottle rocket or go back to original bl 10. I just didnt want the over heating and engine failure again. the t motor shows all of the signs as i can read prop size, cell count, bolt pattern, and can size for the mounting. i ordered it so we will see how it goes. lol, thank you ian.
Well thanks for braving the elements, good landing in the end 👍
The forecast said Sun and cloud, what we got was cloud and rain, very miserable morning Cliff 🤓👍
Super plane ❤❤❤.
Thank you Leon 🤓👍
Ian great flying in the wind. I'm pretty sure that is more the pilot than the plane! Lol
Ooh I'm not sure about that Adam 🤔 Thanks for watching 👍
Brilliant model Ian nice flying too I use flaperons more on gliders etc but cool features to have , enjoy your weekend
The SuprEZ could definitely do with them when landing on calm days!! Thanks Gareth for watching and commenting 🤓👍
Ian great flying in the elements. Like They say, you can pick your day but not your weather, unless you’re retired. 😊😅😂 Jeff in LA USA
Hs ha thanks Jeff 🤓👍
You did really well with the wind, that’s such a floaty plane. Hopefully you will get a better day to test. 👍🏻
Yes I hope so Chris!! It's a great flying plane but could do with a hand slowing down on a calm day 🤓👍
Rain stopped play, thats a shame you could'nt try the flaperons but you flew her well in the damp breezy sky, very good landings....jeff.
Thanks Jeff 🤓👍

Ian, have you seen the new blade700? They did outstanding, replaced the hx6250 to a hx6350. I watched a few IRCHA 24 videos it looks awesome.
No I haven't seen it yet!! I will search and have a look at it today, thanks for the heads up 🤓👍
