What you can also do at 2:23 is to go into Yama with the Fiendsmith and Fiendsmith Link. Then reborn the Fiendsmith, go into Beatrice send the Lotus, Beatrice and Yama go into Rage, Sharvara pops Rage, then you can Rage add back the Fiendsmith to use or to keep for follow up and Yama brings back the Lotus. This way you're not locked into Fiends yet and could go into Varudras. Or you go into Apo for 3. Your line of play saves the Yama grave eff though and the Board seems way stronger vs Tenpai. Still a good line of play to know I think.

I'm sure you've looked into it before, but if not, it might be worth tinkering around with Mirror Resonator. It's a level 1, Light, Fiend, Tuner, with 0/0 stats, so it plays with the Yubel stuff and it's actual effect isn't bad going second.
ive play-tested a little bit with it in the past and it was fun and surprisingly capable havent tested it yet with all the new stuff, maybe i will revisit it in the future

I often start with throne since it’s the most "generic" starter If you think about it, throne gives you samsara +1 extender so a lot of combinations get the same result as throne (beckoning/opening + samsara for example!) But I agree, it’s important to cover even the lines where you don’t have access to any of that! Will do more in the future :)

She's in our hearts. On a serious note, last sets import V-jump promos from slots 96-100 and multiples at that. I still remember importing NyanNyan for Virtual World in the same set as the cards since it was needed. I fear Closed Sky will give SP a run for her money...... literally. Personally i'd rather to see it come out at the end of the year where we'll have 2 banlists to check Snakes a bit, because a slight nerf will only prolong the tier 0 format just with a splash of fiendsmith (tier 0 fiendsmith engine, tier 0 deck snake eyes). Opinion about cutting Terror? I saw an exciting in-depth profile from Solemn, and while I'm not a fan of that build, I completely understand the reasoning behind those choices. For the side, i find droplet a bit costly, i was running Eclipse for almost the same value and a bit more versatility, but it's also funny how it can leave a huge body on the board to make them feel the Pain.
About handtraps, Droll will be huge just from replays I see everyone is on fiendsmith and this can hard punish fiendsmith openings (even snakes that typically didn't care) but I don't see any Bystials. I had Magna/Druis and got good results, the extra body makes them even better now and banishing a Fiendsmith on "summon effect' seems really good.
yep i agree sadly, if shes secret rare, its gonna cost a lot! and while you CAN cut terror and still see good results im not a big fan of it. I think its good to play it but its not crazy that someone would think about cutting it. :) the side in the video is honestly just a copy paste from a long time ago, its not really optimized for the new (Fiendsmith) format!
@@babrad i agree - i predicted in my fiendsmith video already that droll can be VERY punishing in the new format if you open with the fiendsmith. (Luckily phantom can sometimes help with that) Phantom of yubel + rage is easily makeable under droll and in combination with 1-2 handtraps - can be enough to stun the enemy for 1 turn! so we arent the worst in a droll format but if we get hit with droll in a weird hand, its over i also really like bystials, i think they have a lot of potential. im very hyped to see in what direction everything will evolve!

Anyone know how does works if a tempai attack my yubel while i have nightmare pain and they have paidra on the field? does the damage still get reflected or no?
They get no damage from nightmare pain, however the OG Yubels (yubel, terror incarnate etc.) they deal EFFECT damage if you attack them :) So if paidra attacks one of the og yubels, they get reflective damage but only from the yubels, not nightmare pain!
It's so sad how scalpers have made the deck incredibly expensive now. My Boss has been trying to secure cards at shops since they are selling for lower.
Yes, sadly the deck is getting very expensive :( And with phantom it doesn’t seem to stop. Maybe after phantom releases and everyone got their copy’s the hype dies down a little until fiendsmith releases!
i think its a great engine! dont forget that you will rarely do that combo, its just a way to bridge into the yubel engine in case your hand is bad any other way :) so its basically just to keep in mind in emergency! its real strenght comes down when you open any fiendsmith + combo starter from yubel or you can perform the full combo with moon of the closed sky!
I think theres a better way to do this combo i stead of using muckracker. Make yama before beatrice. Then reborn the fiendsmith make beatrice then make rage. Then sharvara pop the rage. Rage add back fiendsmith yama spec samsara and play from there. Also could you make a video/ combo for the post BLTR version since we have no info on moon. I was thinking using cross seep in that build to make apollo turn 1 along with varudras and phantom. Keep up the amazing videos 👍🏻

Honestly i'd rather end on Ceasar + little knight I won't add 2 extra cards to my ED just to play in an unlikely scenario that is Part of another unlikely scenario, discarding negates in order to add more negates is just wrong .
i can get where youre coming from but dont forget that its essential to have access to the yubel engine in the following turns and the board, especially against a deck like tenpai is a LOT harder to break. a lot of people are starting to maindeck dark ruler, droplet and so on in the fiendsmith format and then the SP/Caesar endboard is basically a death sentence. BUT : if you have a few handtraps in your hand - i agree on that. even rage can be okay to end on then to play a ''control'' game until its your turn again. you have to evaluate the gamestate!

How about making maybe a yubel deck list without fiendsmith ? Because knowing konami, fiendsmith will be massively expensive. I was focusing on making boards that end on rage in graveyard (maybe i should return promethean for this line) phantom of yubel on field and valdras with eternal favourite set and 1 discard. Because phantom of yubel pops spirit, spirit flows into 1st form yubel now we have live board wipe for basically nothing, but yea problem cards like lightning storm and cosmic are a thing
