Did not like this on first listen. Having replayed it six times over I can now say that it is a banger.

Me too!!! It’s really really incredible and I feel like I try pretty hard to listen and try new sounds and musicians constantly. I worked at a record store in 2006 for Christ sakes when the first album released. Either way, very happy to have stumbled on them while they’re active and releasing such a pleasurable newest album in 2020. Instant big fan of a vast majority of the discography. Much love from Michigan!

I love TYK , since they played Dublin ten years ago.
But this , this is a far cry from the Decision or Coastguard, it is more akin to a backing track for a Dalek invasion.
Of course I'll buy their album , the only way is up from here.
