Even if Superman L flops (which I'm sure it will) the studio HAS TO claim it was a success. Failure will mean more than just losing hundreds of millions of dollars (like with TSS) but it will damage the brand, reduce confidence in an already failing studio, and potentially wipe billions off WB's valuation.

James Gunn would be perfect for a Booster Gold and Ted Kord team up film. A Plastic Man film. Ambush Bug. Hitman and Section8. So on and so forth, but he’s not the one that should be shepherding the ENTIRE DCU. His type of style doesn’t fit Batman, Deathstroke, Red Hood, Darkseid and the New Gods, etc. His style is better suited for niche comedic characters that are A list status on the DC bullpen.
WB has messed with their writers/directors for so long, going back to Richard Donner. His version of Superman 2 is way better than the theatrical release. They messed with Burton which is why we only got 2 Batman movies from him. They messed with Green Lantern and it was terrible. They messed with BvS and the rest of the DCEU from that point on. But Nolan is left alone and we get greatness. Man of Steel was left alone and we got greatness. ‘89 Batman & Returns and we got greatness. Let those that you hire do their jobs with little to no interference and we usually get greatness. Let the fans tell you they did a good job with the box office returns. Hi Aaron! I have been watching you since the Superman new costume started to surface. I am a fellow content creator and a huge DC fan. I was very surprised, extremely pleasantly, that there's another creator who actually does say it like it is, regarding the costume but also James Gun and the state of DC in general. I was one of the very first people on YT to dare say that the new Superman costume is an absolute joke and a disrespect to Superman. So when I found your channel, I was just delighted. 😊 I am mostly a Warhammer 40K Channel these days. Covering what happens with Henry Cavill's Project there, but in such heart attack inducing situations, like that one with the suit, I usually invite my friend Logan who is more of a specialist than me in Comic books and we discussed this whole nightmare. Like I said I don't give Gunn as much credit as he takes for Guardians of the Galaxy. He was baby sat by Joss Whedon, John Favreau and Kevin Feige. Gunn isn't even as good as Joss Whedon. Avengers 1/2 and Marvel Agents of shield was way better than any of Gunn's films.

So they feel like they rather join them and instead of trying to be in competition with Disney. Yeah, she’s doing ok. She has hit a wall with recovery though. She may never get full use of her leg back. But she can walk, run, jump and get around on her own but that leg slides out on occasion. When laying down she can’t lift that leg at all.

Superman will definitely make 700-800 million. It’s going to have a great story that both Adults and Children will enjoy. Gunn is going back to what comics are made for Children and adults. When I bring up MOS in my classroom kids reaction “ I fell asleep” “wasn’t fun enough” honest reaction. Not my reaction because I love Man Of Steel.
I disagree with most of what you said, I have seen and heard other kids say something totally different about Man of steel, most really liked it. Yes kids ask to go to theaters and parents will take them... But You see, most of these kids will not go back to theaters to re-watch the movie, however, most adults will. Not ALL comics were made for children and not all comics were made for adults, that's why there are different adaptations. I really don't think Gunn's film will make that much; I strongly doubt it based of what I've seen of his very mid work. Gunn was the WRONG person to do DC movies, he is even less capable to lead DC Studios.

Aaron, I haven't been to the theaters in years in fact last movie I seen was Aquaman believe it or not. I was getting tired of Hollywood telling me who to hate and side with. Along with that I didn't not appreciate wb screwing dceu stars. They way that went down was horrendous. I will not support the dcu. Period! I do not like the silly hero movies. Everybody has to be deadpool. That's great for deadpool not for every character. Dc was real like, edgey and the tone was more for adults. Look at the success. Nolan batverse, joker, zacks universe, the batman. It seems that was the money maker but they decided to be a joke.
The Snyderverse likely will never return. I'm willing to give this new universe a chance. However I will be cautious. For all we know the movie could be good.

I think the movie could end up being good but I don't think it'll be great. It won't be as good as Man of Steel easily the best of Snyders films . Bvs was just okay was not that good. Zack Snyders Justice League was good not great. The writing on those last two films was very messy In my opinion. Nolan is largely responsible for writing Man of steel. The writing was just okay for bvs and Justice League but I did like them.

Yeah, she’s doing ok. She has hit a wall with recovery though. She may never get full use of her leg back. But she can walk, run, jump and get around on her own but that leg slides out on occasion. When laying down she can’t lift that leg at all.

Zack Snyder very clearly stated he wanted Jon Stewart GL and not Hal Jordan, so how is it okay for Zack and not okay for Gunn? I'm not here to call anyone any names but bro the Snyderverse was a broken piece of garbage, which is why they rebooted, the only mistake was that they waited so long to do it, the whole story was f*cked at BvS period, and as such a big DC comic person you should know exactly what I am talking about, not to mention it has recently come out that Snyder was paying people to produce bots to push for the Snyder Cut? WTF? Come on man DCEU was great at MOS and WW, even AM was good , but the Universe was getting crushed by Marvel,, and I am a DC Fan through and Through since 1974. I had hopes, big hopes until the end of the BvS and I had lost hope completely and I can tell you I am not the only person who feels that way, and to say that Black Adam caused viewership to go up yes but it wasn't due to a good movie, it was because of the expectation that Superman was going to be in the movie and all we got was a 30 second end credit scene that led to nowhere. It's okay that you loved what Snyder was doing but it's done, let it go, and if you care about DC then give James Gunn a chance and quit hammering him at every turn, it really just makes you look bad.

Superman will definitely make 700-800 million. It’s going to have a great story that both Adults and Children will enjoy. Gunn is going back to what comics are made for Children and adults. When I bring up MOS in my classroom kids reaction “ I fell asleep” “wasn’t fun enough” honest reaction. Not my reaction because I love Man Of Steel.

I disagree with most of what you said, I have seen and heard other kids say something totally different about Man of steel, most really liked it. Yes kids ask to go to theaters and parents will take them... But You see, most of these kids will not go back to theaters to re-watch the movie, however, most adults will. Not ALL comics were made for children and not all comics were made for adults, that's why there are different adaptations. I really don't think Gunn's film will make that much; I strongly doubt it based of what I've seen of his very mid work. Gunn was the WRONG person to do DC movies, he is even less capable to lead DC Studios.

Aaron, I haven't been to the theaters in years in fact last movie I seen was Aquaman believe it or not. I was getting tired of Hollywood telling me who to hate and side with. Along with that I didn't not appreciate wb screwing dceu stars. They way that went down was horrendous. I will not support the dcu. Period! I do not like the silly hero movies. Everybody has to be deadpool. That's great for deadpool not for every character. Dc was real like, edgey and the tone was more for adults. Look at the success.

Sure Gunn has a history of making cringe stuff but to call something that hasn't even started yet cringe when we ourselves don't even know if it's cringe yet. At least we are getting a more accurate looking Kara Zor El in terms of appearance rather than the dreadful Kara from the Flash movie that litterally looked way more like Lara. Though I will miss Cavil's Superman however I will not miss the DCEU Supergirl character.

I think the movie could end up being good but I don't think it'll be great. It won't be as good as Man of Steel easily the best of Snyders films . Bvs was just okay was not that good. Zack Snyders Justice League was good not great. The writing on those last two films was very messy In my opinion. Nolan is largely responsible for writing Man of steel. The writing was just okay for bvs and Justice League but I did like them.
