Used it in a client's house I was selling due to several blogs and youtube videos recommending it, looks good in rooms with low light, but one room had bright light and it turns pink. Reminds me of the 90's pinky beiges. I prefer canvas tan instead. It's a great soft neutral with few undertones.

When I think of tan, I always feel it has a yellow undertone. Not sure that is truly accurate but that is what I see in my mind's eye. That being said, If I just went by the name, I probably would not give it a look. I would say I do agree with your assessment in that it leans more beige. And that would explain why I find this a nice looking neutral, ;-) I am trying to figure out why I am so fond of beiges when I really dislike grays.
I have Natural Tan throughout the main portion of my interior, the white I used with it is Dunn Edwards White Picket Fence and I have accents of Glidden Deep Onyx. Im happy with it :)
I just painted my whole house inside Sherwin-Williams 7036 Accessible Beige. It is beautiful. Since beige is the new color this is it! Love it! It's warm and cozy!
10 years ago we painted our house with valspar in the color oatbran. I need to repaint some walls so thought I thought I'd check out some newer colors and so many seem exact or similar. I'm surprised I've not heard anyone talk about it! It would be fun to hear from a professional how valspar oatbran compares to some of the newer neutrals. I don't always have a great eye for undertone but when I painted our laundry room accessible beige everyone thought it was the same color lol.
Middle of remodel…paint harder to pick than thought😳. Down to Shoji White, Canvas Tan, and Natural Tan. SW too light, CT slight yellow…believe going NT w/Pure White trim😎

I read all the comments and just went through my SW paint deck and now confused. I want to paint my bedroom a neutral tan color that can be in the background to change bedding colors throughout the seasons. We get bright morn light and dark afternoons. Agh!
Accessible Beige is a funny name. I had no idea that in tech terms that ANY colour can be deemed a neutral as long as it's the main colour of the space. That's a fun bit of learning there. I like it. So that means .. my super duper yellow kitchen, with it being the main colour, is a neutral. How fun! But yeah, I get it when it's used in conversation. Makes sense. Ooh! I love that natural tan. It’s such a beautiful neutral that can be used in place of white. I wish I’d seen this color earlier, I would’ve definitely used it instead of Benjamin Moore. So frustrating. Well at least I have a color for when we move.
I currently have a Skinny Latte (C161 by Valspar) on my walls, and am considering painting my kitchen cabinets with the Natural Tan or another light beige, perhaps an off white, and a brownish-beige subway tile backsplash. Depending on the countertop I use (leaning toward butcher block, but that may be too much for browns for a small, dark kitchen)
Hello I am thinking of painting my stucco house in Florida Natural Tan. Your thoughts? I am considering painting the stucco bands the same color?. Even if I do, I will need an off white or similar color for my many french doors and trim at the top of the house. Any suggestions? My front door is stained brown and I have a brown roof and beige pavers. Thanks.

Some favor warmth. Grays can feel cold to some.

We're building a house an plan to use Snowbound on the walls and Natural Tan as the trim. The other choice for trim was Accessible Beige. Opinions?

For me anything that looks a bit beige feels dated.
It's not for everyone but beiges of today are more complex than beiges of yesteryear.
