You know what the coolest part of this is??? The transition into the song “Little Sunflower” by Freddie Hubbard at around 2:09!!! It’s also a song played Bossa Nova (if I remember correctly). Wonderful!!!
My Goodness this man is truly a gift to the world, the arrangements Scott makes are so pure and elegant plus the execution and small details make it such a wonderful experience to both listen and watch the music. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
3:58 over here. Watched this for the 49th to 54th time in the last 20 minutes. Seeing the happiest and most proud ever Martin, and I've known quite a few Martins. This is sheer perfection in any and every sense. Indeed. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And thank you. Thank you.
Master Scott Bradlee a very inventive arrangement. Post Malone’s has a Very Latin Urban sound, very unique, with lots of stunning falsetto that only guys can truly hit. Pretty ballsy song to go after. As if it’s a surprise, you nailed it My Brother. I think in 5ish years of following PMJ, I can honestly say there were 3, maybe 4 songs that didn’t land 1,000% with me. THAT IS STAGGERING‼️ You Bossa Nova arrangement got a bluesy Jazz feel to it, which is great since Bossa Nova is a late 50’s Brasillian Jazz form, kudos. I have to say, hands down my favorite musical addition is the very complex violin parts. Just enough homage to the tropical sounds of Brasil while keeping the same unrequited love vibe. The ensemble, en fuego and flawless as ALWAYS. The consistent double bass just warms my heart. This kid’s got some mad skills, yet ever so subtle. I will I miss seeing Casey every once in a while. The Congas bringing in the sound of the Brasillian Tropics, very nice. Played perfectly as well. Whoever is on the drum kit is very good and versatile. Master Scott Bradlee you aren’t to damn shabby on the keys either. I don’t complement your play enough. You have MAD skills. You are probably one of those bastards who can hear a song a couple of times, then work out how to play it yourself in under 30 minutes. You have so many talents, Truly Graced by God‼️ As Lady Leah Zeger... wow‼️ what a gorgeous, full, melodic, enchanting, sultry, alluring and flat out sexy voice. Perfect for this type of Bluesy Jazz, though I wager she a large range and sings many styles. She is one kick ass violin player. Such complexity, made to look effortless, and sexy. She is dancing with her violin, and they make gorgeous music together. Leah Zeger is a SHOW STOPPER. I have no idea how you came upon her, but you have a Gift for talented musicians, vocalists, artists who are not only phenomenal in their own right, but thrive in calibration in this GORGEOUS LIVE MUSIC you give us Master Scott. I also noticed Leah’s skirt, scarf, the ensemble’s and your ties, your bench, maybe a little sepia to bring out that Sunflower look. You are the whole package Master Scott. A True Renaissance Man, Blessed, Talented and Graced by God. I thank God for you and you gift to us of PMJ‼️‼️♥️♥️♥️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🕊🕊🕊🎼🎼🎼✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼🎤🎤🎤💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🎹🎹🎹🛐🛐🛐🥁🥁🥁
This may well be the best thing PMJ has ever done!! Just beautiful!! Her intonation on the violin is perfect as is her voice. And the band complement her in exactly the right ways.
Sunflowers are sounding pretty GOOD about now. I've had my fill of winter, and am tired of all the snow. I'm ready for SPRING. Thanx Leah, for reminding me ... what's ahead.
It´s so good to see my country represented by this amazing Project. Could I have any hope about you guys play any Brazilian song? Somthing like Carinhoso or Fascinação? :D
Guys - this cover is still awesome. Don't be hating and hitting dislike over the premier feature. That's unfair to the performers and Scott. I understand wanting to let the channel know you don't like the premier feature, but disliking hurts the video in the long run. By all means comment on it, but be reasonable.
Don't worry, liking and disliking function the same in UA-cam's algorithms. It's engagement, and that's all they care about. Any reaction to the video helps.
I don’t get why I need to be presented with a video in my feed that will only be playable 11 hours later. This is not TV, this is UA-cam which is an on demand video service where the user watches the videos when they want to. I say just upload your video. Chances are that in 11 hours time I am not going to watch this as other things have replaced it in my feed. :( and I am not setting a reminder for it as try to have as few things go beep trying to get my attention as possible.
Or at least make the premiere notification be VERY DISTINCT and pop up like an hour (2 hours max) before it starts. Then it would be like a neat little feature
@lactobacillusprime I actually like the premiere feature. Idk if you've actually watched it when it premieres, but I like the whole interactions chat that happens with it. It's like watching tv with your friends back in the day, where you can see the reactions live as you watch it. For me, seeing it in my sub box a day early makes sense so you could have it in the back of your mind and not miss it, though I got caught up watching something else and missed the premiere of the video.
When it's actually available, it becomes the most recent video, so that is irrelevant. I think it's nice to know that a channel has something coming up personally, since UA-cam can be bad about showing it at times, knowing that it'll be available later is nice. Also, chat room feature for when it's premiered so the creator and user can interact too is fun and useful for many videos.
This has been beautiful! And yes, I was eager to see it start, but unlike some other commenters, I know how to use a very complex technogy called "watch later" so I wouldn't forget about it ;-)
Own I love that you guys chose the bossa nova style ^ U ^ !! Felt like home, felt like walking down on the center streets where you can hear that sad and beautiful music coming from the pubs. Greetings from Brazil!
Delicious!... I really enjoyed it, very smooth and soothing!!!.. Also, loved the detail of y'all wearing the sunflower colors and having one as part of the decorations on the piano!!! :)
Where do you guys get such spectacularly gorgeous and talented female singers/musicians? Congratulations to Ms. Leah Zeger!!! What a treat! What a voice!!! What a lovely musical arrangement! I love Bossa Nova! You guys should do more of it! 👌👍
LA is full of supremely talented and beautiful musicians who have been unknown till now. Scott is making sure they get their turn in the spotlight. He’s doing a fantastic service, let me tell you!!!
I'm late to the PMJ party, but I'm grateful for the huge number of songs to binge through. I had never heard of Bossa Nova before this video. Hurrah for learning about new things while being treated to wonderful music!
Couldn't figure out why they had censored the double bass players crotch... before realising it was just the music stand! :)
HAHAHAHAHAHA

Sunflower heard by Spider-Noir's perspective.
Edit: lol my bad. Just sounded a bit jazzy to me. No disrespect.
SolePula snapping in the corner. Just finger snapping, no spidey jazz hands.
More than 20 years ahead of his time. Spider-Man Noir is from the recession-era 1930s. Bossa Nova appeared in the late 1950s.
Spiderman Noir definitely loves it and liked it. GREAT cover PMJ
SolePula t’es français ?
i'm sorry, but spider noir is so distant from bossa nova...
Didn’t know Aunt May was THAT talented!
Oh yeah! She does look like Aunt May!

Same but i really do enjoy this song both the original and cover
this is the version Spider-Man Noir heard

The dislikes about premiere are useful so we can count how many people got butthurt about "losing" one second of their lives.
@@leonmagnushikaru 1 second x 259,471 views = 4300 minutes = 72 hours = 3 days. starts to add up, doesnt it?

Her violin playing was really great. A lot of people would kill for her intonation lol.
Leah's playing is just simply lovely. The way she harmonised with vocals and strings at the end was beautiful. Keep it up PMjb!
When will you guys take on the ultimate challenge and try to cover The Smiths? Many have tried to do it well, whereas very few have succeeded.
Smiths lyrics walk a tightrope that very few people could pull off as sincere. Kenton might be able to pull it off, thats a really tough request.
🎼Cool vocal & violin sound, with the band today. 🎻• Cheers from The Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
Wonderful violin and vocals! Her range on the strings are great, and her style is so fitting.
Wow, I really enjoyed, it's a beautiful arrangement 😍😍 I'm a violinist and I loved the violin parts sooooo much 😍Love from Iran ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Vaxel 👋 Thanks for the love!
I'm really getting Joni Mitchell vibes from Leah's vocal delivery at times and it's wonderful. Easily one of my favorite arrangements Scott! :)
HER VIOLON PLAYING and HER SINGING 😍🔥
I wonder who the infantile little cry babies are that did the thumbs down? What a bunch of mooks.
I got chills when I heard the melody to "Little Sunflower' before the solo section. Great way to put a jazz classic in a modern jazz cover. xD
All these people complaining about premier or release time; I just now got here and clicked and enjoyed. Shrug.
BOSSA NOVA❤️ I love my Brazilian culture
I can't stop replaying this. Beautiful voice, spectacular violin, awesome arrangement.
Please cover Layla by Derrick and Dominoes (Eric Clapton does it unplugged)
This seemed fresh, elegant, and smooth, with a dash of summer. Been a while since I re-watched the original after watching a cover. Well done, PMJ :)

Leah zeger aka the lead singer/violinist kinda looks like aunt may from homecoming
