Wow. So many critics. I wonder if any of you could perform perfectly after having to deal with the trauma that putting this case together has surely caused. They are doing their best to get total justice for the Rhoden family's surviving members. THEY are the only ones who's opinions really matter... in my humble opinion. They are the victims. I seriously doubt that they are critical of anyone taking on the nerve-wracking, monumental task of trying to make sure that full justice is served. I don't understand why people feel entitled to nit pick.

Katrina, I agree with you 100%. I'm sure this prosecutor is absolutely mentally exhausted from the days and days of having to keep this case straight in her mind. The fact that she says "um" and gets criticized by her use of that word, blows me away. Why is our society so unforgiving and critical of simply the way the prosecutor is speaking? Is our society so cruel that we have to comment on such trivial issues especially when the heart of the case involves the murder of 8 human beings? I think many of these commenters need to purchase a MIRROR and begin to take a look into that mirror when they wake up every day. IMHO

      Well said!
I think people have become immune to common courtesy, decency and the teachings of Jesus.
After that Malevolent Spirit floated down the escalator in June 2015, the airwaves have been polluted with spite, sarcasm, nasty criticism, false accusations, spreading rumors & gossip, insults, jealousy and very simply ---- mean spirited Rhetoric.
Whatever happened to following The Golden Rule???

The prosecutor is slow in the way she speaks and asks questions, and it can be frustrating for people who are expecting a movie style courtroom drama, but we have to remember this is real life. Not everyone is snappy and quick in their delivery. What is impressive is the detailed case they have built - it's quite remarkable, the way the evidence has been compiled and catalogued. They prosecution are efficient and organised and they may be building their case slowly, but slow and steady can still win the race.

Agreed - so many murderers/victims/witnesses/locations/cover-ups/very young children involved/devastated relatives/lies/family dysfunctional behaviors. Exhausting. Prosecutor is dealing with FOUR sets of defense attorneys. Doing a great job.

After being married to an attorney for 20+ yrs I can attest to the stress associated with having a trial & all that goes along with it. You can only please some of the people some of the time. As long as you do a good job defending your client then you have done your job.

Yes, sadly, I expect Jake will get a lot of letters like Chris Watts + Boston Bomber, etc. Appears to be many sad, desperate women looking for an inmate partner. There are a few theories as to why this is so. One is that the men were momentarily "(in)famous" and the women think they, the women, somehow gain status through a "relationship" with the "famous" murderer. Another is that the women have been cheated on in previous relationships so are reassured that "their man" is placebound in jail, no going out to the bars. Seriously.

They are wearing a big pair of shoes and I sense she is doing a good job. It has to be stressful tolperform herduties on such a tragic situation and words must be chosen so carefully. And all that done before multiple listeners. Let's try to remember to keep our yard as well kept as we can and not be picking apart the yards of others. I mean this as a kind reminder to us all.
