I don't know which one is more accurate, but the JBL C5 sounds like the more exciting of the two at first listen. Funnily enough though, after listening to the clip a few more times, I started to prefer the Uboom L at times as the C5's exaggerated top end was starting to get a little annoying...
cap charge way better
also there is a volume difference between the 2 videos.. the charge seems 2 times louder in this video.. would be better to have equal volume/loudness
The charge definitely has treble hiss for certain songs, UBoom L does not have this issue (based on my experience)
@@Deebohunchothe gg and nd version of the charge 5 doesn’t have this issue, he might have a tl or some other version which has overemphasized highs
The high end on the Uboom L sounds a bit distant while the upper range on the JBL is up front and center, which is not always where the treble should be. The Uboom also has more depth and kick to the bass. The Uboom is the better of the two.
With the great advantage of an excellent price!
I use a EQ with the Boom. Its highs can get a little harsh. Power Amp Equalizer can let you tailor the sound. I'm not warm and fuzzy about the update, as I heard some have bricked the speaker. I suggest using an equalizer. It sounds good to me without the firmware update, but that just me.
the current/outofthebox sound signature the uboom L has, was not intended by oluv as earfun decided to switch out the drivers last minute without oluv knowing it. the firmware update was like a last resort and improves the sound like 50%. you should try it. bricking should be like super rare. you should try it.
some people confirmed that september units should come with the new firmware preinstalled
The difference in instrument separation between speakers that have a tweeter and those that don't. The type of AMP and soundcard embedded into the motherboard also affect the detail of the sound. But both have a balanced instruments and a flat response which i like. Unlike Motion Plus without EQ, I can't enjoy it
JBL C5 is bit louder and got the sub bass rumble and slam. Earfun uboom also sounds really good for the price.
it sounds like a difference in sound volume loudness so the comparison is a little hard to decide
somebody knows how volume matched listening is the only way to do a comparison
I won't be purchasing JBL products anymore. Battery is bad after a 2 years or more. I will now switch to earfun.
My boombox 1 already 3years plus untill now the battery working fine can last aleast 12hrs and above..
Me gusta más como suena la earfun uboom l, suena más nítida y equilibrada tanto en medios, agudos y graves.
Según el Ranking es el mejor speaker de la gama media.
Why compare a speaker which is over a USD100 in price over the Uboom? Put the Uboom L with same price of the JBL speakers then we're talking.....
To show difference between stereo vs mono/tweeter
because oluv who tuned the uboom claims it makes everything below $200 obsolete, but it would seem this not the case???
@@alanrossreviews also now it makes sense it sounds bad of axis because drivers are blocked by the housing when removing fabric cover
@@techderaudios but you prefer the wildrod anyway? i need to try that one then.
@@alanrossreviews yess maybe bass is bit less on middle volume but i do enjoy it and doesn't have that harsh treble as with flip 6
strongest beat on cool uboom
what do you think lisetning this in person?
Well chosen title, the JBL Charge 5 is the best product from jbl and a must have.
Woooow nice
Jbl 💪💪👍👍
i have both earfun more natural sound a bit more bass on jbl
Soundcore Motion Plus 👍🏻👍🏻🏆🏆🔥🔥
Only if you love very loud speaker.
@@pinroshan020 Yes of course I really like Soundcore Motion Plus, because I like the quality is very durable, the sound is clean, hi-res audio, Aptx, the firmware update is easy (always available) and not high risk. I've been using it for a long time and so far it's been fine. 😎😍✌🏻
Fine then pay USD 50 more, then compare an Anker speaker that costs USD 59 to USD 79 to this quality if anyone has one
Uboom retail price is 79usd 59usd is early offer price;) and even for 59-79usd i would choose wildrod with 89usd price 10usd more durable higher quality parts and also of axis clear sound
Charge 5 sounds better. But I wonder how 2 ubooms will sound vs 1 charge 5.
earfun is better has a natural sound
Para mi es mejor el JBLcharge 5 porque se escucha mas claro y limpio el sonido
claro por algo cuesta más de el doble que del otro 😆😆
WTF
Pero monofónico!
and? can it? no talk here lol
where do you get jbl with tomorrowland logo haha i wanna one!
It’s a limited edition JBL Charge 5
Not the same volume?? Charge is louder, which means more detail
They both where at 70%
All 70%’s are not as same loud. It wd be better if loudness in db had matched.
@@ozgurveinsan maybe techer audios want us to hear what those speaker can deliver since small/mid sized speakers tends to have difficulties of maintining sound quality at higher volume.
JBL C5🔥
Charge 5 win.. and done for listening
