Another Jets fan from Australia here. I was choosing between the Ravens and the Jets in 2002. The hype around Pennington and having more access to Jets games got me sucked in. We had a good season too, so I was thinking I made the right choice! I loved Laveranues Coles and Curtis Martin and never looked back. By the way, internet sucks in Australia... Jets fans are unbelievable, this guy Peter saying they made a mistake by not interviewing Mike Mccarthy, the coach who had the best quarterback in the NFC in his prime for 12 years and made to ONE super bowl. Mccarthy is so overrated and a retread looking for a paycheck. Kinda like rodgers.
I’m considered but optimistic. He was a jet and knows our pain. He wants us. And we can’t judge him based off of past failures. He sounds good. So didn’t Robert. The difference is. Aaron played the game and Robert didn’t. And he will get in a players ass if needed. I’m praying. Woody puts us through pure hell. 37 years with that organization. I don’t have much left guys. Joe Douglas was a very good GM… He was probably pressured into picking Zach Wilson by Wood Johnson…. He brought in nice players, but Woody micromanages too much… Get Woody out!

Moron, all the QB’s you mentioned went to teams that had strong infrastructures. The question is, do you think Glenn can change and create an infrastructure for the Jets. Genius, why do you think he mentioned that he owned numerous restaurants. Also, Glenn has an open phone line to Parcells. Glenn is qualified and should have our support. I do agree that the GM should have been Dimitroff. Flores is a Glorified DC. He attacked his first round QB draft pick - real smart!

I still feel like Brian Flores has that hard charging commanding energy that this team needs to turn things around. I can accept Glenn, but Flores is a proven winner everywhere he goes. Detroit losing 45-31 to the Redskins showed the team to be a little soft, especially given the big expectations, which concerns me.
So why you guys hiring Glenn?
I saw Ben Johnson saying hello to the organization people for 2 minutes and he fired me up and everyone else with his positivity, charisma and excitement! Aaron Glenn has none of that .. zero "it" factor, sorry...
