Best build videos on line, freewing should hire you
I'm always amazed that people will glue something like this tail and NOT put any glue on the carbon fiber rod before inserting. It will make the assembly much, much stronger, whether it is this tail assembly or a two piece wing or anything else. Seems so self explanatory, yet never see anyone do it on any build videos. It will extend the glue joint deep into the piece it is being glued onto making it so much stiffer and stronger.
I love this F-4D Phantom, it looks like a fantastic flyer and just rules the sky. I'm currently flying a Freewing L-39 80mm CAMO and there's absolutely nothing to be said about it I can say other than phenomenal! I am currently considering the Freewing T-33 Shooting Star German CAMO 80mm, but the Phantom is a cool 90, and really second to none. So, talk me out of it?
Coming from multi-rotors and just recently a wing too, this was the next logical purchase...

Brill video Tom. This on is on my santa list. Just a quick question if I may. I am limited to 53 inch in my car. With the nose cone removed, can you tell me how long the fuz is please.
Are you sure the servos are digital? They seem very quiet for digitals...I think they are analogue but advertised as digitals. Anyway just purchased the 8s version so either way it is an awesome looking plane!
Red: just put together the Freewing F-4 Phantom but am not sure where the rudder and the elevator servo extensions plug in. Directly to the receiver? Or to the back end of the A-10 multichannel board? Couldn't really see in your video how that's all hooked up and there's no explanation in the manual. Same thing about the UBEC connection.

I was wondering the same thing John! Tony also got one and has far less than 1,000 subs too. I don't expect them to stay below those marks long either though. They did very well! :)

buy a apprentice best plane to learn on
Practice on sim first don't buy anything yet .
