I’m a complete novice when it comes to woodwork but we will collect our puppy in 2 weeks and my girls want a dog house for it.
So I’m going to attempt to build the house getting ideas and suggestions from UA-cam and Pinterest.
Here I’ll use my new chop saw, chisel out a rebate for hinges into a door.
Attached wooden beams (4*2) to brick wall using concrete masonry screws (7.5mm * 80mm).
I’ll also use the saw to cut mitres and bevels, with 45 degree angles and cuts. (Using protective eye wear / goggles)
I’ll be pre-drilling pilot holes, so to make it easier for the wood screws to go in.
Whilst hoping the my spirit level shows my work to me accurate 😃
I've also bought a polystyrene sheet (25mm thick) to put inside the walls of the wooden frames to provide a little insulation.
