Never would have guessed Helix would be under rectangle. Thank you! I really enjoyed this method but why the heck is there not an option in solids to create cylinder with threads? Or extrude with threads. That way you could model tapped holes too.
I would appreciate a response. I copied your steps exactly the way you did it using MM measurements. The outcome was not the same for me, the sweep extrude works but the options to “Cut Body” is not available for selection as it’s shaded.
THANK YOU. It was under the "rectangle" menu!!!
totally helped me 100% thank you so much

How do i contact the creator of this video?
hi there thanks for the video but it wont allow me to use cut body for the thread, any help with that ?
Same problem with me
make sure the bottom of your triangle isnt hitting the face of your model in front of the chamfer
Super merci
avec plaisir
Est-ce que tu peux faire une vidéo d’un solide de l’écrou
Ok Marc
try if you can do it faster..its like slo mo..
Looked like you just recently learned how yourself, before making the video. I search around just like that trying to remember steps to something new.
Your triangle should be drawn perpendicular to the helix. Not the Z axis.

Thanks
at the thread end side... not really cutting good .
Yeah missing a step
Thats why i prefer fusion than mastercam, to many work for creating simple thread.
