Thanks for this in-depth review. A thorough Sym Orbit 2 review was long overdue. I enjoyed every minute. You covered much, much more than anyone else. Keep riding.
Thank you for the good review. I bought one and love it. Very efficient starting, running and power. A more comfortable ride too, than what my Yamaha Superjog 90cc gave me.
The only difference with the fiddle is 25cc extra. If you really need the extra power it's worth it, it doesn't sound like much but you do notice the difference between any 125 and 150 engine. For me personally, I didn't need it. The croc is purely cosmetic and tyres. not worth the extra spend in my opinion. Tries a bit hard to look cool if you ask me.
Wow thank you very much for bringing this video in front it extremely informative and well made All the boxes Tick✔ Tick✔ Tick✔ . I also bought the same machine but now the helmet that i got does not fit underseat storage, Any recommandations for a typa helmet that can fit?
Thanks for the comment. I do not have a recommendation for a helmet that will fit, it would have to be a small shell open face helmet to stand a chance of fitting in there.
Great review - thanks! As you've said anyone can get all the specs online, so it's more the smaller details of the scooter and what it's like to ride and live with. Someone else has asked, but can you tell me how many km's you get from a full tank of petrol? Cheers!
Thanks for the comment. I've never measured the fuel consumption in real life riding, but according to the SYM website: 3.5L/100km + 5.2L fuel capacity = 148km per tank. Hope that helps.
Hi mate, I'm getting confused about the country where this scooter are made. I know that the brand it self is Taiwanese but are this particular scooters ar build in China or Taiwan. I'm asking this because so many in their reviews ate saying that they ate build in China.
I'm not entirely sure, different components may be from different countries which is why it gets confusing, but it does not have the typical features of a bike made in China. If you ask a dealer they will say it's made in Taiwan.
Hi mate me again . I've just changed my oil on my Sym Mask 125cc and I've used Castrol Fully Synthetic 10w-30, is this the right one . I don't have the manual unfortunately
Thank you, your review of this machine has helped me because I purchase one, but I'm living fur from big towns, I've searched so many places for engine oil and gear oil that the owners' manual recommend, I'm still new in this scootering life, can you please recommend some types of engine oil and gear oil for me that I can find easily for my sym orbit , your help is highly appreciated thanks.
@@chukpic Thanks for the reply bud, It's kind of a motorway but the speed zone is that of 80. So can it do 80 easily? As if it can it's the right one for me.
@@dishantsonani9134 you should reach 80kph quite easily on a flat road. On hills you may reach it but might take a while. Maybe try take one for a test ride, I know it's not always easy and they don't often let you, or if you really want to be sure go for the 150cc. But personally I would ride this anywhere except highway, especially if there are very long hills.
I wouldn't compare the two, the BWS was a legend, but this will certainly get the job done for cheaper than anything else, but most importantly, the support is there! Glad you found it helpful.

Great, let us know what you think about the Lil scoot
Thanks for the review. How do you think this compares to the Sym Crox and the Fiddle 2? Is the Fiddle worth the extra cash?

Thanks for the fantastic video and an even more impressive video description. Very well written and so true.
No problemo, glad you enjoyed it
Thank you very much for your review. It helps me alot also seeking a scooter
How much for a full tank of petrol and how many litres is yours because im thinking of getting one for work use up and down nice video bro
About R100 for a tank. Not sure of the tank size
5.2L use it for work it very convenient i enjoy using my sym more than my car it a traffic master
Would you say this is but the 150cc version which recently launched in SA would be better than a BigBoy Revival 150cc?

How is the bike now, 3 years later? And how many kms have u travelled so far
@@lebogang9948 think it's only done about 600km but still going strong even after standing for a few months because I lost the key
Thanks for the great review👌🏾👏🏾. Kindly also review fuel consumption when you find time.

Thanks very informative review
What are the approximate costs for the services and the frequency (apart from the two you mentioned) ?
awesome review
curious to know how it is treating you 6 months later and how many kilos does it have now?
Just did my first service at 400km. Cost me R700, not bad. No problems to report. Still going strong 💪
@@chukpic awesome
Continue to enjoy the bike.
I am definitely going to be buying a bike soon for local runs.

I'm not entirely sure but Orbit is sold as Mask in UK.

For the engine 10w40 and 80w90 for the transmission. The brand doesn't matter too much, as long as it's full synthetic.
Thanks bro, your help highly appreciated, we are waiting for another awesome video to let us know how the sym orbit do and how reliable it is, thanks.
Where did you buy it?
Howzit, would someone around 193cm in height fit comfortablly on it?
@@muziwandilesangweni4398 probably, don't see why not. If your legs are long you can just sit further back on the seat
What's the maximum speed it can do?
My uni to home has a big stretch of 80 kmph zone.
Would you recommend?
I've reached 90kph on it. I would recommend it anywhere except a highway

Anything you specifically want to know?
A 15 degree hill is very steep. I'd be surprised if your hill is 45 degrees.
Thanks for the useful feedback
