I always preach the gospel about how LL *elevated lyricism* 💯 Nothing in the universe of recorded rap rapped on such a high level. It was "I Need A Beat" first, followed a short time after by "Dangerous". Our minds were blown here in the Bay Area 💣💥🤯
RUN DMC were the epitome of cool....but this new guy was the fuckin future 🎙🙌 As such, sure enough, other rappers began copying his style...including my young ass self 😂🤦‍♂️
