- In this video, I review Ally Bank, which is one of the best banks in 2024, offering one of the best high yield savings account and best checking account. The Ally Highyield Savings Account has one of the highest interest rates on their no annual fee savings account, making them one of the best banks and best savings accounts where you can put your money in 2024 to earn a high APY or interest rate.
Ally offers some of the best savings tools, like the Ally Savings Buckets and Ally Boosters, to help you manage and save money easier. I've been with Ally for a number of years now and currently have 4 accounts with them. Great customer service! I usually do not need a local bank but there are a few times when I do which is kind of a pain. Those big local banks don't pay interest on checking (usually) and very low interest on savings.
Nice! Yeah, I've heard their CS is pretty great. Do you have a bank account at a brick-and-mortar too, or just Ally?
@@DayanaPlays Yes, but I'll probably be closing it in a couple months. Chase often has some deal where they give you cash for opening an account. So if I need one, I do. Then use it for a year and close it. I've done this several times. But I'm hoping to figure out a better plan in the future.

I've had ally since 2000
I used my saving back in 2021 to start a brokerage account, and have started using the round up booster

@@DayanaPlays the APY, As I started investing I really started likening the boosters all I use is the round up one though; I can see the use in the others I just don't have a use for them, I use the bucks to help me built an emergency fund
