Scarfy takes a look into the last two games in the Dracula point 'n' click adventure game series - The Shadow of the Dragon and The Blood Legacy. After the strange and silly first two Dracula games (The Resurrection and The Last Sanctuary, which were on PC and PS1), and a surprisingly interesting historical mystery mixed with vampire mythology in The Path of the Dragon, we've finally his the last stop. Will these two last games, released in 2013, live up to the original trilogy, or are they doomed to live in its shadow? The entire Dracula series is available from Steam or GOG, and even on Android devices.

Scarfy's starting to become a lot like Jordan Underneath; Make a video or 2, die for a couple of months, come back, and repeat. But also like Jordan, they're all really great quality and still a blast to watch ❤
Also 25:07 for a second, I thought he said "Throne" and not "Thrall", and that'd give a whole different meaning to that sentence.

@@Skelosk Because that's the kind of videos *he* wanted to make. There's nothing obligating Jordan to keep making reviews. He got tired of doing them and wanted to both do something new and do something he's more interested in, and it's been working out for him so far, as his motivation to make content (at least on the outside) seems to be increased. It's better to be happy with the content you make rather than do what everyone else wants you to do.
Talking boxes are often the result of low blood sugar. My recommendation is to either down any nearby pills or raid your neighbor's fruit basket.

Great video, Scarfulhu, sorry for the not even really a joke about your hiatus but looking forward to what you got in the works.
This series could have been a lot better with more continuity beyond just Dracula and some references. Like an Adventure game Castlevania or something.
Or an episodic game where you play a different main character in each episode that leads to a big finale, kinda like Eternal Darkness in episodes.
I am just mesmerized by how the voices and the characters speaking isn't even close. Brilliant. Welcome Back Scarfulhu! :)

15:25 isn’t the lore that Dracula 5 tries to use reminiscent to the 1992 film version of Dracula? You know the one with Gary Oldman because I seem to remember a plot line similar to the whole Radu sending a message to Dracula’s wife Elizabeth who kills herself, then becoming a Dracula becomes a vampire soon after.
The real Radu (sometimes named Radu the Handsome) died of syphilis and may also have been a lover of the Sultan Mehmed II, so it's doable to invent romances and love story around that character I guess.

Great video there. Was wondering if you checked out the BBC Dracula TV series. I liked the first two episodes but the third one was a bit meh in my opinion. I did like how they made Dracula resemble Christopher Lee in some shots.

15:33 the Fate/ franchise deals with historical figures a lot and sometimes they make up some backstory stuff fro them to make their stories work.
or to make them be more of a "character" unique to their story.

Yeah, but... The original Dracula wasn't "handsome" or "charming". True, he had a way with words, but besides this, he was described as rather ugly. This "hot" Dracula idea was introduced much later.

seems like a common trend for microids that when they make a sequel to a series that had been dead for afew years that sequel is gonna suck. [ these games, syberia 3, still life 2.]
It's because Microids was a company, but know it's only a brand that belongs to Anuman interactive, same name, but not same people.

Ellen's dream about Adam as a vampire is forshadowing for the end of the game, when you decided to not take Dracula's blood. Makes sense to me :)
Wow Adam is a jerk! Ellen freed him from jail and in return, he didn't help her to kill Dracula... of if he did, that had no impacts and was really lame. This guy is a horrible person! Ellen would be happier with Dracula, at least he wants to cure her sickness and save her child... even if he's a ferocious monster who kills innocent peoples.
