One thing I’m learning from these videos is to not overreact to what my opponent does. I’d have insta-bought two Marks as soon as I saw the Wraith pick in that first game and probably would lose. I definitely wouldn’t have had 46 Boats with three Techs by round seven. I watch and still don’t understand how to make this happen lol
Well there's 2 things happening when countering units. First is you only need to counter a unit when the enemy cant get out of the unit. This can happen either by him losing too much tempo selling it or him investing in too many of those units/techs. The second thing is that sometimes the better counter is a bigger unit like war factory or overlord or whatever so you need to buy time before you can buy the counter
@@SurreyEZ I was wondering the same thing, I suppose that in boat wars you need more boats instead of a few lvl-ed boats. In which situation lvl-ed boats are prefered? When opponent fight them with marskman or mustangs?
@@Glioburd Well this game I had the giant manufacturing specialist so my boats were cheaper. You want leveled boats if you have some items like absorption module or nano repair kit. Or if the enemy has really big targets you need to get through like a lev3 scorpion or fortress. Or if the enemy is trying to kill your boats using only mustangs then levels are better. Also it depends on how much you have chaff clear. 6 lvl1 boats with ground cannon clear quite a bit on their own and you dont need that much clear behind them. If you have like 2 lev3 boats they get stuck on everything if you dont have sufficient chaff clear. Against phoenix and marksmen you always want more boats with wasp summon
If you take range, your boat missiles are going to shoot at a longer distance. But that means your ground cannon (fixed range) is just twiddling its thumbs all the time. So by having your boats move forwards to get into missile range, you also constantly use the ground cannon to clear chaff. While ranged boat can take out your boat, your boat clears a ton of chaff before its taken out. Range can be benefit but it can also be a disadvantage depending on the other guys units/techs.
Game 2 was pretty wild
Game 2 was mental, no clickbait here. Love your content, I've hit division 501 top 100 MMR since I started watching
Have a drink every time the beloved RAT says "what is this shit".
I was gonna say similar too. Every commander pick
38:36 farseer that gives range!
"The worms are coming"! 47:37
Nice a long one.

We always have to ask ourselves, if the video doesn't start with, "WTF is this shit" was it really a Rat video?
I can't believe it took Dartagnan until round 13 to buy AM . Straight up cost them the second game
The rat always thinks his starting cards are complete garbage. LOL
Goooood
Is it actually better to build more boats than to level them up?
depends on the situation

@@SurreyEZ I see! Thanks a lot for the explanations sir!
What's wrong with the other guys game 1 boat techs?
i think no range is better in boat mirror, contrary to popular belief

Ok question if you play defensive and units have defensive techs. Can you out last and out play aggro?
it's better to be the defensive player
Why not use marksmen in the First game seem like it would Win you some early rounds?(game 1)
why not level melters when opponent has higher level ones? to be able to deploy more of them?
yes, leveling them doesnt do much
