I like how an official PvZ account describes Lychee as “deadly” when it isn’t to any zombies stronger than Imps, like Basic Zombies
isn't the point of it, is it being a defensive plant? If it dealt strong damage people would use it instead of peashooter, ect. as they are way cheaper. They also deal an area damage attack :/ .

Lychee kills imps with 14 hits. Considering imps have half the health of a normal zombie, I assume it takes 28 hits to kill a normal one. It's value lies on the 3×3 AOE, hitting all units in range. It's just a way to make the pre-selected loadout have more playstyle and variety

I like this plant. It seems to be more of a resource type plant, where you cant expect it to do anything itself, but it helps a ton, especially if you can keep things bunched up. It wont do anything itself but it will help everything else
If Aloe was in the game and could heal it it would be better in general, especially if you could PICK YOUR PLANTS-
Also, what if it had a set DMG instead of HP? When a garg smashes it, it explodes for its full damage, but it deals damage proportional to its health loss.

No it's a worst version of durian.
I think it's an in-between of the star fruit and durian, it's not a great combination for this already terrible game

I recognize that there are powerful options like Explode O Nut, Primal Potato Mine and a variety of bullshit in PVZ2 for the same cost. But do you genuinely think that those plants are any balanced? This Lychee might seem weak but that's because of how broken PVZ2's balancing and difficulty system is.
Because most of them are premium plants and primal potato mine is only very useful on hard expansions event such as ancient egypt and modern day's last stand
The only thing what makes pvz2 difficult is early wild west,expansion and pennies pursuit
Hey zack, i was looking back it the gw2 dev q&a and despite that being 5 years ago i wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Do you still keep in touch with the devs such as justin wiebe and the vancouver team? The pvz communtiy wanted things lalike pvz heroes hats and boss hunts to come back one last time and i wanted to even ask the devs myself. That team doesnt work at ea anymore(i think) is there anyway that i could talk to you and justin to see if we can make ea bring back boss hunts and other rare things that rux sold? Or if you have his twitter, insta, or discord?
Thay should make a blood tooth mushroom what it dose is it shoots in a 3 by 3 area and goos any zombies in that area and it dose damage over time

I think it might be based on the country. You might need a VPN to get access, but, I haven't looked into it

The only good thing of this game is the story but the new plant is only good against the Imps since with regular zombies it ends up getting eaten very often, not looking forward for what’s coming next if it doesn’t make significant changes.
So what’s this? The second new plant in the new game with over 300 levels? I’m going to say it. The animation on it is pretty lazy and subtle. I mean like compare it to any of the new plants to PvZ2 within the last 2 years. Those plants have so much more detail and life drawn jnto them.

A real sequel is too keep the original mechanics removed the bad stuff what made the original bad and add new stuff not reusing them

Bruh, people here expect a 50 sun plant to kill any zombie while acting as wall nut and while doing splash damage to everything. This isn't a broken game like PVZ2. The balancing in this game is one of the strongest points about this game (on top of this, lack of seed choice makes the balancing even better); if you want to complain, whine about anything else. It was meaningful originally to rant on and on hoping for a fix but at some point, it is just harassment and annoyance.
Strongest points is on the plant side and weakest is on the zombies side
"The game is good at balancing" plants what about sun shroom? Being an power creep sun flower costing 1 sun gives 1 sun and 2 suns later the game balancing is garbage random zombie spam and gargs
The devs are lazy asf at balancing the whole level structure so they had to bring back an old feature that was a huge problem in the early states of pvz2
Pvz3 is more unbalanced than pvz2 because the problem is there are no plants that are good at crowd control lightning reed literally sucks at killing stronger enemies takes too much sun sun flower seems to be producing slower than her previous counterparts and bonk choy is the only plant that is good but he's only made for heavy hitter
Don't get me started with the zombies the game has no prep time it's a timebomb the early waves goes from an imp/2 imps/brown coats and 10 second later the horde is already here
