Yes, he does. And I am so glad that he overcame those obstacles. It was not easy going through that pain during his childhood, and even his adulthood. I am so happy for him that he is living a dream that he always wanted at being successfulI. am going to miss him playing those " Madea" roles.But, he is just as good in playing himself in a different roles just as well. I hope his series, " The Paynes" returns soon in the future.

I remember when he came to the Oprah Winfrey show, and he talked about the abuse that he suffered from as a child and teen. His dad was so evil! I mean the things his dad did to him was just mind blowing and even after everything that monster did to him, when he got rich he still took care of his dad.

Me and Tyler been through the same scenario but we don't let our past hurt us, we overcame it by writing and being the person we are. I'm always writing rhymes on my phone and so far I'm getting good at it and he's an amazing actor. That's shows that we don't let whoever hurt us determine who we are and we grew from that pain and state of mind.

I had a similar life with my father. He abused me and my mom. He tried to kill me. And later in life he had Alzheimer's. None my other siblings wanted to take of him. Even though he was mean to me and abusive. I forgave him and took care of by him until he died. In 2008, he was 93yrs old.. life is about forgiveness. I applaud Tyler Perry that's he's been blessed.

The birth of Madea and his role of her persona seems a pseudo-revenge for all the misgivings, mistreatments and abuse, ( to him and his mom). But forgiveness is always the cure. Tyler, all his life, seemed to be “spiritual weightlifting”, doing just the opposite of his oppressors and just as the Good Lord asks us to do to strengthen our relationship with Him.
